My husband & I booked a...

My husband & I booked a bus tour to Terezin for May 26th. Soon after the bus left from the meeting-point, my husband had a cardiac arrest. It was an awful experience which would have been traumatic for those in the bus as everyone was witness to the immediate aftermath of attempts at resuscitation, the arrival of the police & paramedics etc. As I have no way of directly contacting Viator to pass along my thanks to those who became involved in this incident I am leaving this review in the hope that those who assisted with CPR know that they saved my husband's life that day. I also want to acknowledge the efforts of the woman on the tour who spoke to the police & likely convinced them to take me to the hospital when the ambulance said I could not travel with my husband. Our vacation came to an immediate end but after some time on the I.C.U. ward we were able to repatriate home in the company of a Dr & my husband remains alive today due to the efforts of those unnamed heroes. I hope this update will bring some peace of mind to those who had to witness everything - the speed at which people responded made all the difference to the outcome. Thank you to all involved!

This was a fantastic...

This was a fantastic hiking tour. Warren and Clare were the best tour guides. They explained each site we went to with great background and interesting facts. The tour started with pickup at our Vrbo, which was so convenient. First part was to visit Pravcicka Gate. The arch was amazing and felt like I was in Narnia. We got there early enough to miss the crowds. Second site was the hike to the Kamenice River and boat ride. Not sure which was worse - the hike down or the hike back up but seeing the river, gorge and the boat ride was worth it. WARNING: These are moderate hikes and if you are physically not capable of hiking up and down, on rough terrain for long periods of time, this not the adventure for you. The last location was the Bastei Bridge. The hike was easier for this part. Breathtaking views of the national park in Saxon Switzerland, Germany. Highly recommend this tour for those visiting Prague and if you want an adventure outside the city.

This trip was everything...

This trip was everything I wanted and more! Martin, our driver, and Vaclav, our guide, were such a wealth of knowledge. I came away knowing so much more about Czech culture, history, wildlife, and the landscape. The lunch was delicious and in the most idyllic location with a view of the hike we had just taken. I would recommend this trip for anyone who wants to get outside of the city and explore!

What a great way to see a historic medieval castle and to see some stunning caves! This day trip was a great time, and our guide Adam made it so much better! He was super knowledable about the history of Czechia, and taught us so much knowledge in the caves. The lunch at a local restaurant was really great as well where we got to enjoy some local cuisine. Elegant journey through historic Prague

When we booked the tour, we weren't sure 90 minutes would be enough. However, it turned out to be just about perfect. We saw some terrific sites, including a view from the top of a hill that was just stunning. We have to also acknowledge our driver, Filip, a tremendous source of knowledge. We had a lovely time on the river. The guide had a lot of information and anecdotes to impart and the views were lovely. The Devil’s channel is very small so a lot of the time is spent on the main river around Charles Bridge, so you have a lot of time to find out a lot about it and admire the views of both banks. Altogether, a very pleasant experience.
