Day Tour of Paris

I took this tour last year and it was very good. This time I came with a friend and it was even better. The only blot was not being able to get into the Louvre because students had blocked off the entrances. Abby was our tour guide and she was absolutely incredible! Her fund of knowledge was impressive. She was truly charming, interesting and able to put his historical facts in context with what we were seeing. Truly an excellent tour guide! I recommend this tour for anyone who is a first time visitor or a return visitor, who maybe needs of refresher course in the lay of the land. While we did not end up going to the Louvre, Abby improvised by walking us through the Marais.

Great way to get a brief view of the top sights, to prepare a visitor to spend more time in depth. Place-to-place travel is all by Metro, so not so much a walking tour as a mass transit tour. Didn't go into any of the sights, so it's kinda like a hop-on-hop-off tour, but on foot/Metro rather than a double-decker bus.

Louis was wonderful! Entertaining and thoughtful. Such an interesting tour through the streets of Montmartre - I felt as though I was living in Paris and exploring the different shops (patisserie, boulangerie, butcherie, and chocolatier). Everything one would need to prepare a meal and then sit down with friends to share wine and conversation. With some history of Paris and strolling the streets you really felt part of the city. Definitely recommend! If you were lucky to get Louis Francois it’s a bonus! Great spoken English and sense of humor!

Ruth was fantastic! Very engaging and well informed . You tour the church first for 30 minutes and then meet the guide for insights. Very crowded otherwise. Nice to see it before the throngs got on line for a free pass through. Kind of awkward at first , but ultimately worked out well and felt that I learned a lot with this approach. Excellent/Easy walking Food tour!

Location was easy to find. Cosey was a phenomenal hostess (5 stars). She was great and very knowledgeable, weaving in stories about the food and the city. It was a highlight of our trip. 2 of the locations were not open. It was more nibbles and bites than food (4 stars), so you won't leave full. However, the food we had was excellent! I would definitely do this again.

Our Guide for the day was Olivia and boy did she make a great day for us? She was knowledgable she was happy she was upbeat. She was kind. She was funny. She was so personable. She took her time with everything and answered. All of our questions laughed and smiled made excellent recommendations. Not a better way to spend. this tour was primarily about art in the Montmarte district of Paris, so you need to have a little interest in art. It also discusses the history of the region, but through the lens of the artists who lived here. Our guide, Sophia, was wonderful, knowledgeable, nice, and accommodating. Note that the tour is very hilly, as the area is the highest point in Paris, so you have to walk quite a bit.

Fun and interesting bike tour!

Thoroughly enjoyed this bike tour! Part of what made it so great was the guide Simon. He was super knowledgeable, flexible (some roads were closed due to the Pope’s visit), and very funny! My kids especially loved the tour because of his constant humour! We got to see some incredible places that we wouldn’t have known about otherwise.
