Top Osaka Dining Experiences

This hands-on cooking experience lets you create a unique “sushi cake,” a modern and visually stunning style of sushi popular for celebrations in Japan. With guidance from an English-speaking instructor, you will learn how to assemble sushi rice and fresh ingredients into a beautifully layered cake. The experience also includes making fruit daifuku, a traditional Japanese dessert filled with fresh fruit and sweet bean paste. Set in a small-group environment, this class focuses on creativity, cultural insight, and memorable photo opportunities in Osaka.

Try something new and oh so Japanese when you take a dip in a Japanese bathhouse, or sento. There is specific etiquette to follow, and we'll guide you through the process when we meet at a nearby cafe/bar. Then, we'll "sento" together for about an hour and finish off the experience to enjoy some craft beer or coffee and classic Osaka "soul food," including takoyaki.

Takoyaki is Osaka's most iconic street food — but finding a place where you can actually make it yourself? That's rare. At DiCE Dotonbori, our friendly staff will guide you through every step, so even first-timers can make delicious takoyaki with confidence. The best part? Takoyaki and drinks are all unlimited! Make as many as you like with your choice of fillings, and enjoy unlimited beer, sake, soft drinks, and more. After your takoyaki feast, head upstairs to a private karaoke room with thousands of songs. Karaoke is optional — the price stays the same either way. DiCE is Osaka's largest entertainment complex, with karaoke, darts, an internet café, and a café & bar all under one roof. Make it, eat it, sing it out — only at DiCE Dotonbori.

Bike tours and food crawls are two much-loved traveler favorites—here’s your chance to combine both. Hop on your own set of wheels and follow a guide to try Osaka’s most delectable food specialties. Stop to take in top city sights along the way, such as seeing one of the city's oldest temples, as you cruise between multiple stops, which may include a locally-run sushi shop or grilled wagyu beef.
