Absolutely amazing trip. I would give six stars if I could. The three main highlights, the Tara River Canyon, Black Lake in Durmitor Park, and the Ostrog monastery were all incredible. The tour guide Vera was superb.
Go on this trip, you won't regret it.

It was a great tour, with a very knowledgeable and kind guide who provided lots of interesting information about the places we visited.
The tour was full of stunning scenery and plenty of photo stops. The tour was a great way to explore the national park if you don’t have access to a car.
At the Tara Bridge, there is an optional zip line which in April 2026 cost €30pp.
The tour included a reasonably priced breakfast (€8-10) and lunch stop (€10-15) with multiple veggie options and a drink included in the price, the staff at our stops were very kind and welcoming.
Only thing to note is, due to signal the card machines may not work, so it’s worth bringing plenty of cash, especially if you want to zip line.
Lastly, if you’d really like to see the monastery don’t book over the orthodox Easter period which in 2026 was April 9-12th.

Great way to see Northern Montenegro! Be prepared for a very long day. Durmitor National Park was very beautiful. Bring cash for the food stops and national park fee.

I joined this North Montenegro tour covering Durmitor, Tara and Ostrog, and overall the experience was amazing. The guide was excellent, very informative, professional and clearly very skilled. I learned a lot during the day and truly enjoyed the landscapes and the atmosphere. 🌄
Highlights included the stunning views of Durmitor National Park, the impressive Tara River Canyon, and the unforgettable visit to Ostrog Monastery. Everything was well organized and the tour ran smoothly. One useful tip for future visitors is that there is an entrance fee to visit Black Lake inside Durmitor National Park.
The only downside was the food pricing at Floyd Food Factory where we did our breaks and stops for breakfast and lunch. The breakfast was OK but quite expensive for what was offered. I really expected to pay around 3 or 4 euros for what was offered, but it ended up costing 8 euros. Lunch was also on the expensive side. For example, fries with a drink (just a beer) cost €6.50, which did not feel like good value.
Aside from the food prices, everything else was great and I really enjoyed the tour. That is why I am giving 4 stars instead of 5. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had a great experience with grey line tours during our visit in montenegro. The locations were very scenic and it was well timed so we could see lots of montenegro in only one day. A special thanks to our guide Igor and the driver who were incredibly friendly, made lots of jokes and made the tour very memorable.

Great tour. Saw some beautiful spots. Could have skipped the church at the end as it was a long way up and only ok, but it does have important cultural significance so depends on your preferences

Positives:
Comfortable mini bus with USB charging points too.
Ostrog monastery is a very good place to visit.
Journeying through the North Montenegrin countryside and mountains was a good experience.
Black lake was so beautiful, in the backdrop of the mountains and the coniferous trees, and the mist in the air. If only there was more time to explore it.
Negatives:
The guide Slavos didn't really seem interested in being as descriptive as another guide Davor (who does the Great Montenegro tour with the same tour company). Didn't seem too keen to answer questions about the places. Seemed as if he was doing us a favour by doing so. And he would turn his face away and answer in monosyllables. Very insulting. He should take a leaf out of Davor's book and be a bit more proactive about the rich history of the country, especially for foreigners visiting the place for the first time. For the lady of the rocks viewing and some bits of the Ostrog monastery- information was given AFTER visiting the places. Instead, he could have given the relevant information (including when was the monastery built, which we had to ask him) about the places just prior to arrival.
Could have spent more time/arrived early at the black lake (in Durmitor national park)- only the larger part of the lake could be covered, not the smaller, deeper part. No other site is covered in the park. (Taro canyon was covered before entering the actual park). Only 30 minutes were given for exploring the lake. The remaining 30 minutes were for lunch. Something for the tour operator to ponder about in the future. It doesn't make sense to separately pay the entry fees to the national park (5€ per person) and just spending 30 minutes exploring one location only.
The guide mentioned that the time for the monastery would be 20-25 minutes (tour description said 45 mins). Everyone got back on time on the bus, and we only left the place after waiting 10-15 minutes in the minibus (while he was talking on the phone). Could have instead given more time at the monastery.
Overall, I would suggest that if you do wish to do this tour with the 360 Montenegro company, please clarify who shall the guide be on the day; and preferably avoid the tour if Slavos is going to be your guide (to have a knowledgeable experience).

A great highlight trip to North Montenegro for those who don’t have the time to overnight there! Milos was a great guide!!

Amazing day, got to see so much and even the crap weather couldn't ruin it in my opinion, highly recommend and our tour guide was great always keeping us informed of whats happening 😁
Anil_P, Oct 2025
Stunning scenery, great guide but long windy roads. Could do spending more time at black lake say 2hrs.

This was an excellent way to get to northern Montenegro. Nadja was our guide, and she did an excellent job explaining the history of the country and details on all the places we were visiting. There is an opportunity to do a zip line, which is really fun, and good breakfast and lunch stops along the way. It is a long day, so be prepared for that, and also be prepared to pay with cash at various meal stops and the zip line. We were very impressed with 360 Monte

Slavko was a very informative and entertaining guide. Excellent driving as well through many difficult areas. Views were really beautiful. Great day out! Thank you!

We had a great day with Nadja the guide which was fantastic. Very friendly and professional and extremely knowlegable. She was awesome. The views were breathtaking and all the spots the tours stops at are great. Very much worth the long drive. Dormitor mountains are beautiful and the black lake too. Best thing to do in Montenegro.

A big day, we saw real highlights of the northern part of Montenegro. Our guide, Nina was lively, informative and friendly. We stopped for two meals (optional) which we enjoyed!
KEITH_M, Sep 2025
It was deep in the heart of Montenegro a long day it was how it was described stunning The tour guide was very good he knew his stuff! Maybe do away with 1hour lunch we could have more time in the national park people then can choose to eat or not! Making the experience fairer

Wonderful views along the road, a well thought-out your and great organization! Our guide Igor was amazing, shared a lot of interesting information with us while making sure that everything ran smoothly. I enjoyed every moment of the tour and would absolutely recommend!

Overall, I had a fantastic time visiting Dumitor national Park. I wasn't planning on doing zipling. That was a great addition. The lunch at Oro was above my expectation in terms of meals during a tour. Igo is fantastic. Highly recommend this day. Be prepared for a long day though.
SUSAN_B, Aug 2025
Excellent guide, I learnt so much, beautiful country, very organised, long day but worth every minute, thank you
rachel_m, Aug 2025
Together with my friend, qe join this tour and we've made the right decision on joining this tour. We've learned more about the culture while enjoying great views and food. Nina was fantastic and she guided us through the journey.
Andrew_R, Aug 2025
Excellent tour of northern Montenegro, our guide Igor spoke clear English and was very informative throughout the tour, keeping us on schedule and pointing out sites and scenery and explaining Montenegrin and Balkan customs and history. Highly recommend!
Milu_M, Aug 2025
Me and my friends had a great experience. Our tour guide vania was wonderful. We hot enough time everywhere to enjoy. The scenic view on the bus was amazing. Highly recommend tours and the tour group Montenegro 360.
Hilda_M, Aug 2025
Great insight to Montenegro and not just the coastal areas. 7 of us in total on the trip in very comfortable vehicle. Guide was so lovely, Milos, knew lots about the country and just genuinely a lovely person to do the tour. Couple of photo stops, Tara bridge where a few on the tour did the zip wire over the canyon, Durmitor park and the black lake and Ostrog monastery. All areas were beautiful and definitely worth the long drive. Stopped for breakfast and lunch on route, both really good with opportunity to be eating local food.
We were staying in perast so we joined there as their first photo stop without any issue on arranging that and the pick up all went smoothly.
Happily use the company again and no hesitation in recommending to friends.

Really well-organised and enjoyable tour, well worth the money!
Our guide Milos was incredible - had a broad knowledge about everything we could think of asking about, and made our experience all the more fun.
We enjoyed all the stops, including breakfast and lunch - which was local and delicious.
We only had 1 full day in the country, so this was by far the best way to see as much as possible in that time.
Would really recommend!
Inga_R, Jul 2025
Long day, full of impressions and information. Well planned, enjoyable. Nature beauty of Tara and Black Lake was breathtaking and the highlight of the day- tour to Ostrog monastery via narrow mountain road and visit.
Rupert_C, Jul 2025
Fun, well organised tour. We got to see so much of North Montenegro in one day, amazing scenery. Very accommodating with pickup/drop off. Great food at breakfast and lunch. Give it a go if you are staying around Kotor and fancy a change from the beaches for a day!
Aziza_A, Jul 2025
This was the best tour ever! The views are just amazing. But most importantly, our guide Igor - absolutely five star rating! He was very engaging, kind, helpful, always kept us interested and also gave us breaks when we needed them! He also has the best jokes!
I left my phone on the bus and had to disturb Igor late in the evening after the tour ended, but he was so sweet and kind and helped me recover it before my flight next day. Thank you, I really appreciate it 🙏
Sam_D, Jul 2025
It’s a good day trip taking from the coast to far inland in the country. We did it in early July a hot summer day, but you do nut feel it when inside the coach. Guide Vani was excellent and gave us lots if useful info about the country’ history politics particularly why they wanted 55% majority for independence and MN Logon- easy going attitude, local matters and all about food and everything you wanted know.

What a great it was to go and discover North Montenegro! Simply, it's "beautiful!" The Tara River and Bridge, and the Black Lake, and best of all, the Ostrog Monastery! WOW! Also, the breakfast was great (not "just good", but truly great!) And finally, Igor, our tour guide, was amazing with his energy, his enthusiasm, and his knowledge of Montenegro's history and evolution, and his ability to "go short" if we did not have much time, or "go with a lot of explanations" if we had plenty of time, all of this with a great sense of humor and "happiness with his job!" He is GREAT! He teamed up beautifully with our great driver "Dragun" (??) who managed to drive a lot in one day with not even one glitch! Perfect Day!!!
Mika_K, Jun 2025
A whole lot of north Montenegro included, great value. Had a small group and a nice talkative guide/driver (of a fine MB SUV).
Lyubov_P, Jun 2025
We had an unforgettable day exploring the beautiful region of North Montenegro. The tour was extremely well-organized, and everything went smoothly from beginning to end.
Our guide, Milos, was exceptional—professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly thoughtful. He went above and beyond to make the day special for everyone.
One of the highlights was the delicious homemade breakfast and the amazing lunch that Milos arranged. It was a wonderful way to experience the local flavors and hospitality.
The scenery, the stops, the food, and the overall atmosphere were just perfect. I strongly recommend this tour and Milos as a guide—you won’t be disappointed!
