Tour guide was great. (People should know that restrooms are hard to find). Views are outstanding! Tour guide knew his way around traffic holdups. Safe driver. Very knowledgeable and proud of his country. It was a fun trip. Go Gators😂

The tour met us right outside the port but we had to walk a little to get to the van. We then drove the scenic road along the shore. The driver was our guide and he was informative along the way. We stopped at a small village which was used by many for swimming. You could also pay for a boat ride out to the Lady of the Rock which was not included. Further driving and a ferry ride as well as a very short stop at ancient mosaics. We also made a stop to look at a dock of expensive yachts. Finally a drive over the mountains and back to town. Along the way we stopped at a beautiful overlook of the bay. There was not much information shared on the latter half of the ride. The tour was good for the sights but not for information and definitely not worth the price.

The booking process was very quick, however the Viator tickets had no start time on them. So, I had to message back and forth with the tour company. At first it was agreed 09:30 would be the start time, then I got a message saying 09:00 would be better.
We were on a cruise ship, which needed to use tender boats. The cruise line prioritise passengers into the tenders that take excursions that they organise. Hence we were at the mercy of the cruise line, when they let us take a tender boat. I messaged the tour company three or four times, letting them know our exact circumstance. My last message was that we had boarded the tender. When we got to the meeting point, we discovered that the group had gone. The tour company did send a driver to collect us and take us on a 45 min drive to meet up with the group.
After that things went very smoothly. We were transported in a very clean, air conditioned minivan.
Our guide was very friendly and knew a lot about his country.
The whole trip was a round-trip around the whole Kotor bay, including a short car ferry and a journey to a mountainside lookout point. All very picturesque and enjoyable.
The tour finished mid afternoon, with loads of spare time until the ship departed.
My only recommendation is for the company to publish the tour start time and maybe wait a little longer to pick up their passengers, especially when they have been in messaging contact for the tender journey.

Please note that all other guests on your tour were from the exact same cruise ship and made it to the meeting point on time, but we immediately dispatched a private driver to catch you up with the minivan group, resulting in you reaching our first stop in Perast just five minutes after them.

Had a great morning out, picked up form the end of the ship by a fountain, were driven round Kotor dropped off at various places to look round and taken to places for photos. Then a ferry ride on the way back. Had a great time. Dencora pensioners like us. And a fraction of the cruise ship price.

Dragan was very knowledgeable about Montenegro. We got to see and stop at some beautiful sites. He made the tour fun and interesting. Bravo., Dragan! Hvala!! Wriggly recommend him!

This tour was complicated in many ways: the itinerary had to be adjusted due to traffic constraints leaving the city, which reduced the number of planned outside city sites to visit. Moreover, unlike myself, passengers/clients did not read the ship's program or listen to the announcements about the tendering and they arrived an hour late which delayed our start by an extra hour, and made us skip planned stops. They blamed the ship for poor organization which is false. The clients were clearly at fault. Marco did his best to accommodate these challenges and provided an excellent tour, complete with historical commentary and humor. He was conscious of bringing us back in time for catching our ship on time. I would recommend this tour and Marco, with the proviso that if the clients don't show on time, the tour goes without them. As a paying client, I should not have to suffer because of others ignorance and incompetence.

Eric was absolutely wonderful and knowledgeable about Montenegro. We fell in love with this place, seeing it through his eyes. He took us to all the most beautiful locations on the island with great explanation along the way. Will definitely come back to this place again..

Our tour guide was amazing and the sights beautiful! Only draw back was 4 grown adults and a 6ft+ guide in a small sedan, expected a van or SUV style vehicle!

We booked the small group tour. We were the first to arrive and the operator apparently overbooked so he called his buddy to drive around 4 large passengers in a very Small compact car. Our expectation was that we’d be driven in a nice comfortable van rather than 5 large passengers stuffed into a tiny car. I explained that I was very comfortable due to bad knees They told me I’d have to wait a long time for another driver. The tour went from bad to worse as the driver talked in detail about things other than about the sights of Montenegro. I contacted the tour operator directly regarding this experience and received no response. I then contacted Viator , and Viator contacted the operator Who would not do anything about it. Since we are loyal to Viator they gave us a 50 pct refund. This was an awful experience in a beautiful part of the world and I hope other travelers will learn from this experience. Do not recommend

The vehicle provided met the specifications of a small-group tour, and in response to your concerns during the tour, you were offered an immediate alternative — a larger minivan — at no additional charge. This option was declined.
We also regret that the guiding style did not meet your expectations. Our guides are trained to provide a well-rounded experience, combining cultural, historical, and local insights.

Eric picked us up right outside the port terminal entrance in Kotor at the agreed upon time. There was one other couple on the tour. We had a great tour and Eric answered all our questions. We fell in love with Montenegro and hope to go back someday!

A most beautiful day in Montenegro.
We were suppose to go to Budva. The streets were under construction and Andro changed the itinerary. We understood it was beyond his control. He gave us an absolutely magnificent tour. His knowledge of the history of Montenegro made the tour very interesting. We definitely recommend this tour.
Andro was about to get a brand new vehicle. You are in for a treat.

I DID NOT GET THE TOUR I PAID FOR!!!!! NO BUDVA. No refund either
I did not get a tour meet time until 9:10pm the night before. I had inquired the month before because I needed to book a tender to them. They assured me they would be there and no problem. Lies…… nobody was at our meeting place. Was told I’d be put with another guide since he couldn’t be there until 12:30. I started receiving texts to walk to another location and look for a license plate to get in a car. When I texted the company we felt this was very unsafe we got a text with a pin dropped telling us go there. We should have never went. We were greeted by a man that told us 5 other people in van get in it’s safe and he seemed great. He informed us he was a driver in a taxi and not a guide. Drove us to Perast and deploys at a ferry service where we had to pay $15 a person for transport to lady of the rock. (This is all we did on the purchased itinerary). We were dropped and not picked up for an hour by this other company. When we got to the van he told us no time for Budva he was dropping us off at a Marina to shop. We asked to please not be brought there. He told us he’s only driver not his call. Proceed to drive us 45 minutes with not one word of information about the area. Drove us onto a Ferry even when we asked him to just bring us back to our meeting point. Dropped us at the Marina where we stood for an hour waiting to get back on van. The worst day I can remember. We felt unsafe and did not get the tour we paid $190 for. We could have paid $30 for transport to lady of the rocks and been back to town if we hadn’t booked with this company. We did not receive a refund although we provided all texts and proof of the fraudulent tour. This was NOT a tour. We were taxied around and told the tour was changed since it was so late. We could have gone with another company. We were bullied and felt we were unsafe with no options. In hindsight sight I should have ubered back to port but was 45 minutes away and alone there with my daughter. DO NOT TAKE THIS TOUR unless you want to be swindled. When I filed a complaint with Viator they responded the company rejected a refund. HOW???? I purchased a tour to Budva. They sent a driver to bring us to a Marina where we asked to not be brought there and were completely ignored!!!! We were told over and over that he was a driver only and no tour guide!!! We should have went with a tour from the ship and have learned we have zero rights or backup unless we do from now on. It’s a shame because we have used Viator in the past and thought they were trustworthy. Thank goodness we didn’t get stranded!!! Buyer BEWARE!!! We never thought this would be us until it was

This is such a beautiful country, our ship entered in the fjords and we were surrounded by the bluest water and enormous tall mountains. The tour was fantastic. It was a private car with the owner of the company, Andros. He told us the history and took us to beautiful places. The village of Perast is both quaint and unbelievably scenic. Andros gave us plenty of time to explore. We stopped for coffee at a lovely shop on the water, and enjoyed a stunning view! Then we took a ferry to the other side and drove through quaint villages on the way back to Kotor. He took us high up a mountain to get a panoramic view of the port of Kotor. He dropped us off near where we were to catch the tender to get back to the ship. We spent a little time in the walled city before catching our tender. What a beautiful place! Andros could not have been nicer, and I highly recommend his tour!!
P.S. it is worth noting that Montenegro is not very credit card friendly. Most places wanted cash, including the little boat ride to Our Lady of the Rocks island in Perast. We weren’t able to go because they wouldn’t take credit cards. Get some cash. We had some for tipping, but were out by the time we got there!

Based on our experience and other reviews I think this tour is highly dependent on the group size and if it is just your group or others. Our group was one other couple but the vehicle used for the tour was a Rav 4 and three large adults who didn’t know each other were siting in the back seat. Not ideal for a hot summer day… the spots visited were nice but I would consider a different tour in the future. Andro facilitated the tour but a different driver took the group for the tour.

We believed this was a tour of 1-4 people based on the description. It is not. I rated it 3 stars because if I had known that we would be 17 people, then perhaps it would have been acceptable for those that like that type of tour. The tour providers were pleasant and knowledgeable so my only disappointment was in my expectations based on the tour description on Viator

I booked one day to go around and see Kotor, Budva, Lady of the Rocks at Perast, Sveti Stefan and Tivat Marina and they did not disappoint, Andro was spectacular.. I’ve done many of group booking but never a private one and he was so good at communicating beforehand, then throughout the day with excellent guide about the history of Montenegro and couldn’t help enough to make the trip run smoothly. Amazing experience and day.
To add to it, I also booked a private trip with them to go to a Shkoder, Albania and also visit Old Town Bar in Montenegro the next day. This time I was taken by the guide Petar, who was also excellent at communicating beforehand, throughout the day and on our journey. It was a fabulous day!
I can’t recommend this company enough for friendliness, great professionalism, enthusiasm and motivation to what they do to give an enjoyable experience. Thank you both Andro and Petar - I hope you enjoy your winter break soon!

Petar was an amazing guide. Our cruise had a last minute change, and he was super accommodating to adapt our meeting place and itinerary. He re-planned the whole day, and knew exactly where to go, and how much time to allot, to make the most of our time. His communication was immediately responsive, professional, and friendly. Pickup was easy and we were not rushed for anything. We had a wonderful time exploring Budva and Bar, and had a delicious lunch at a very nice seaside restaurant. All in all, I would highly recommend Petar and this tour! Thank you!

We had a wonderful experience. The weather didn't cooperate, but Andro made it fun and memorable for us. He took us to this charming town in Perast and gave us an option weather or not we wanted to take a boat ride to Our Lady of the Rocks. Andro was very knowledgeable about the history of Montenegro and took us to the different tourist destinations. He was also able to relate to my 12 yr. old son when it comes to MBA basketball as he is a fan of it himself. Highly recommended.
