Coyocan - don’t miss it!
I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Ana on my Coyoacán walking tour! She was incredibly patient, warm, and knowledgeable, and brought the history of Coyoacán to life with so many interesting stories and examples. I especially loved learning not just about the history, but also about the art, culture, and the important role Coyoacán has played in the history of Mexico.
What made the experience even more special was how comfortable and at ease Ana made me feel. This was my first solo trip, and spending time with her made it feel incredibly memorable. She was attentive, engaging, and genuinely passionate about sharing her knowledge.
I absolutely loved my time with Ana and would highly, highly, highly recommend her to anyone looking for a walking tour in Mexico City. If you’re lucky enough to have Ana as your guide, you’re in for a wonderful experience.
Kudos, Ana, and thank you for making my time in Coyoacán so special! ❤️

Highly Recommend Ismael!
Our guide, Ismael, was wonderful. He was warm, pleasant, and incredibly patient throughout the tour. Most importantly, with several degrees in the humanities, he had an excellent understanding of exactly what we were interested in. We truly enjoyed our time with him, and the tour was both engaging and very informative. I would highly recommend Ismael to anyone interested in learning about a new culture!

Excellent Tour!
I don’t know how anyone can walk through this incredible museum without a tour guide. We only covered 3 areas in about 2.5 hours and could have easily stayed all day. Jonathan with Amigo Tours was our wonderful and very informative tour guide. He was very friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable and our family learned so much from him. Most of the information signs at the exhibits are in Spanish. Even if you can read Spanish, you’ll only get a glimpse of the history. Jonathan shared very in-depth and rich historical insight that we would have never known about otherwise. Don’t miss this museum and book this tour!

Our guide, Emilio, was...
Our guide, Emilio, was extremely knowledgeable and humorous. We not only learned a lot about Mexican history and Frida Kahlo, but we loved riding bikes through Coyoacán, and the opportunity to sample local food and drinks along the way. Highly recommend this tour for a fun, active, and informative experience.

Excellent "Insiders" Experience
Excellent experience by Ricardo (Chilango Insider). Richard has a passion for CDMX and delights in showing both there well known aspects of the city, as well as the "insider" aspects. Bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen, and be prepared for around 10,000+ steps over the period of the tour. Ricardo is always checking in to make sure you are comfortable and if any adjustments need to mer made. Highly recommend this excellent experience.

We had an incredible tour...
We had an incredible tour of Casa Pedregal with Isaac on Saturday (7/11). He was the perfect guide: incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, humble, and thoughtful. You could tell he has a deep appreciation for Luis Barragán's work, and he shared that knowledge in a way that was engaging and easy to understand.
Although visitors are only able to walk through a portion of the house, I never felt like I was missing out. Through Isaac's explanations, I came away with a much deeper understanding of Barragán as both an architect and designer, as well as the vision and philosophy behind his work. He connected the architecture, use of light, color, materials, and spatial design in a way that made the experience far richer than simply viewing the house.
If you have the opportunity to tour Casa Pedregal, I highly recommend doing so with Isaac (from Chill And Go). He made the visit memorable and gave us an entirely new appreciation for Barragán's genius.

Top tier tour experience!
Wow! We can't say enough good things about our experience. Ramon was so knowledgeable and knew the answer to every question we had. Him, along with his driver, Monte allowed us to take the tour at our own pace. We never felt rushed and could tailor the experience to what we wanted. He seemed generally excited to share all of his knowledge with us. Not only was it incredibly informational, but it was so much fun and exciting. The day went so smoothly with them taking care of every detail of our experience. Since there were protests outside of our hotel, they even met us in our lobby and walked us to where it was safe to be picked up. I would also highly recommend getting the included lunch, as even the meal was incredible overlooking the pyramids. We never felt pressured to stop at gift shops or to purchase things, but they were very flexible when we wanted to do so on our own accord. I can't recommend this experience enough! This was my second time booking this tour, and after experiencing as a solo traveler, I knew I wanted to do this again with my friend, and this time was even better than the last.

Magical Coayacan
This is a great experience for those that want to have a little taste of traditional mexican environment with the guidance of Hector. It is a walking tour, the time allows for it to go at your own pace, there is food along the way that is a great break. We loved the traditional taco stand inside a market, we eanted that experience but were a little scared of picking the wrong stand. The attention of Hector was the best and always ready to answer all questions.

The Guide Makes the Difference
If you visit the Luis Barragán House, do yourself a favor and book this tour. Our guide was wonderful, thorough, passionate, and consistently checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. His deep knowledge of the architecture and the story behind how this iconic home came to be at its location made our visit much more meaningful. We would never have appreciated the significance of the design details, especially Barragán's extraordinary use of color, without someone who understood them so well. Truly one of the highlights of our trip to Mexico City.

Highly recommend!
We booked a private tour which was definitely the move. Our driver was Daniel and tour guide was Jorge and both were very accommodating and friendly! The boat ride was so beautiful and relaxing, and Casa Azul and the Anachuacalli Museum were must sees! Overall, great experience!

Worth it!
100% worth it — Mauricio was an informative and entertaining guide! He provided great context and information regarding the lives of Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo as well as the home they shared. Mauricio is an architect and provided historical/architectural context to Juan O’Gorman’s home/studio and his commissioned homes for Rivera and Kahlo. I would highly recommend if you are not fluent in Spanish — most of the signage & written information is in Spanish. Mauricio was able to give us that information and so much more! Thank you Mauricio!

Fun and good tour for seeing multiple sites
We loved this tour and found it to be a great way to visit multiple sites in one day. Our tour guide, Alan, took great care of us and was very knowledgeable on Mexican history. He did a great job leading us through a long tour. We definitely appreciated the pick up/drop off service as well. Overall this was a fun and informative day!
