This was a fabulous...
This was a fabulous experience. Bouchra met us is an easy place to find in the Mefina and took us to her home. Everything was so well organised and after a chat she had us chopping up vegetables and making marinades and dressings. She was funny and relaxed and gave us historical facts as we chatted. The food we made was delicious and we all sat together and shared our meal

A Delicious, Welcoming and Truly Memorable Cooking Experience
This cooking class was one of the highlights of our time in Marrakesh.
Our originally scheduled chef experienced an unexpected operational issue, but she communicated with us and thoughtfully arranged for her son to lead the class. He was absolutely wonderful—knowledgeable, patient, personable and committed to making sure we had a great experience. The change did not take away from the class at all.
We put on our aprons, got behind the cutting boards and learned to prepare several traditional dishes, including potato salad, seasoned carrots, Moroccan salad made with tomatoes and green peppers, and a delicious chicken tagine cooked in the traditional clay pot.
The class was hands-on, relaxed and filled with good conversation. We also enjoyed sharing the experience with travelers from Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and the United Kingdom. Preparing and eating a meal together created such a natural opportunity to learn about one another’s cultures.
The food was delicious, and receiving the recipes afterward was an especially thoughtful touch. Now we can try to recreate a little of Morocco at home.
From the communication surrounding the last-minute change to the instruction, hospitality and follow-up, everything was handled beautifully. I would absolutely recommend this class to anyone looking for an authentic, enjoyable and personal cooking experience in Marrakesh.

Dynamic duo
Tareq and Amin were amazing, very attentive through out. Tareq checked on us regularly throughout the tour making sure we were comfortable and had everything by we needed. Highly recommend this tour and if you get this duo it will be that much better.

We had such an amazing...
We had such an amazing experience on our desert excursion! The camel riding and motorbike adventure were so much fun and gave us the perfect mix of excitement and Moroccan culture.
The highlight of the evening was definitely the sunset dinner. Watching the sunset over the desert while enjoying a delicious meal was absolutely beautiful. The fire show afterward was incredible and made the whole night feel so special and memorable.
A huge thank you to Imrane, our guide, who was wonderful throughout the entire experience. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had a great time from start to finish. He really went above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable.
I would absolutely recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Morocco — an unforgettable evening!

We made a tagine and...
We made a tagine and salad and a simple dessert. There are vegetarian options for the main dish. The chefs are brothers and have a super fun dynamic. They play music and sing and in general keep the vibes high- we had a really great time and they taught us some new techniques!

Best cooking class ever....
Best cooking class ever. Market visit was short, only one stop to buy vegetables. But the cooking experience was fun! And the food was DELICIOUS. Better than restaurants we've tried. Beef tajine was unforgettable! Still waiting for them to send the recipes though :)

Really wonderful experience
We learned to make Moroccan mint tea properly, 3 starters, 2 tagines and a dessert. The ladies were so lovely and very knowledgeable, got the whole group involved in the cooking and preparation and the set up of the class means it’s easy to chat to the whole group and make new friends. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend booking this!

Good value and memorable day out
Nice day out of the city to the Atlas Mountains with a great guide and a safe driver. We were able to experience the three valleys and visit a Berber home for a breakfast snack, go on a hike and enjoy a traditional lunch for a reasonable additional fee. Hike was pretty. It was not paved and had rocky terrain. Our guide Redouane was lovely and knowledgeable!

Magical
Great day out! Moussa was an excellent driver and made us feel safe on the sometimes rocky roads.
Beautiful views, well worth the visit!
Wear good trainers, or hiking boots. It is very slippery at the bottom.
The monkeys bite and steal food, so watch out!

Recommended - good value
Booked last minute - surpassed expectations. We were picked up near Jama al Fanaa around 10am and made our way to an Argan press facility. We were served with olive oil, honey and peanut dip with bread and tea followed by a bried overview of the argan hand press and various products available. We then made it out to Agafey dessert where we did quad bikes followed by camel ride. Lastly we had lunch which was pretty good and after, back to Jama Al Fanaa before 2pm.
Relative to my expectation and the cost, experience overdelivered with kids super happy.

One of the very best packages AND great for the money.
Great experiences, slick organisation that allows many to experience great activities, camel riding, quad biking, Moroccan dinner, fire act, with transport. Perfectly managed, great friendly operators, little selling stop with no pressure. Great value around $20 per person.

Not seeing something you are looking for?
The best Moroccan cuisine starts with fresh ingredients and a knowledgeable chef—and there’s no better way to learn about local dishes than by whipping them up yourself. Marrakech cooking classes let you create traditional food alongside local cooks for an immersive cultural experience. Lessons include everything you need to create one or more delicious dishes, and some classes visit a local souk for fresh ingredients—but all experiences end with you savoring the fruits of your labor.
