We had an awesome experience! The camel ride, the stop at the argan oil collective and the tour of Imli were all amazing. Both Mohammed and Ibrahim were great guides, very friendly and very knowledgeable about the different sites. Would strongly recommend this tour!

Told pick up was at 10:10, turned up at 10:00 so I’d be early and ready to go, they didn’t turn up until 10:50, so 40 mins late and standing there for near an hour. On Viator the tour is 7 hours and 30 mins, it takes like an hour and half to get there so that’s 3 hours, so that should be over 4 hours at location but we got there at 12:30 left at 3pm, dunno if that’s coz they were runnng late but it’s not relaxing or great to to quad bike for 30 mins and get around the pool for around hour and half / 2 hours. The food was basic but decent, a sparse salad, chicken Tagine and small square of cake and our tour guide was very nice and engaged but i scored what i did because we didn’t have enough time there and they were very late picking me up and the time shown on Viator is not true, you have 3 hours to quad, eat and use the pool

All was great. Driver picked us up from hotel. He was punctual. Driving safe and fast. Our quide on quad bike was helpful and entertaining. If I could I'd give six stars.

Booked last minute - surpassed expectations. We were picked up near Jama al Fanaa around 10am and made our way to an Argan press facility. We were served with olive oil, honey and peanut dip with bread and tea followed by a bried overview of the argan hand press and various products available. We then made it out to Agafey dessert where we did quad bikes followed by camel ride. Lastly we had lunch which was pretty good and after, back to Jama Al Fanaa before 2pm.
Relative to my expectation and the cost, experience overdelivered with kids super happy.

Adil was absolutely amazing! Very friendly and helpful, quick to respond and knowledgeable. INCREDIBLE value for money, would absolutely recommend the lunch time slot, it was much quieter. Meal was large and tasty. Awesome way to spend the day.

Wonderful day, everything was perfect and amazing value for money. Ran smoothly, well organised with friendly and helpful personnel. A day my daughter won’t forget in a hurry. Genuinely 5 stars.

It is incredible! We rode on quad bikes for an entire hour through the desert. It was truly amazing especially considering the price. We also got to swim in the pool, ride camels and had the nicest guide ever-Omar. We got picked up at the hotel and dropped back. In the desert we also stopped at a little hut for drinks mid quad bike trip. My only tip is bring a lot of water/drinks.
Paaras_D, Aug 2025
Despite booking two separate tickets they make you share a single quad bike. Total scam. Avoid this cowboy company.

The place is exceptionally beautiful, well organised and location is perfect. My kids enjoyed swimming in the pool. The view is very beautiful. The food was to notch as well as the staff

This was such an amazing experience from start to finish. Amina was an amazing tour guide and really friendly! We got to have lunch and also have a swim which was a plus!

I wouldn’t recommend to book with this company. Honestly disappointed… We didn’t even ride the camels when it states there is a camel ride. Also I paid $150 CAD for a private tour and there was nothing private about it, we had other people with us the whole time. Misleading and inaccurate information listed on this tour. Book somewhere else I’d advise.

We started the day by meeting our guide at the agreed meeting point. We were a few minutes late, but he patiently waited for us. The agency deserves a 10: they are very organized, answered all our questions via message, and on the same day we booked the tour, they put us in contact with the guide/driver who would accompany us.
The first stop was at a women’s cooperative for argan oil production. We were welcomed with tea, bread, and jams — everything was delicious, and the explanation about the production process was interesting. However, we missed seeing the actual production — there were no areas where the oil is filtered or bottled, for example. Prices in the store were also noticeably higher than what we had seen elsewhere in Marrakesh, and there was no room for negotiation. On the way there, we passed dozens of other similar roadside “cooperatives”, which made us question the authenticity of the experience.
The second stop, already in the desert, was the highlight for us. We could choose between a buggy or camel ride. We chose the camels, but found the experience a bit underwhelming. The guide walks ahead on foot, pulling the camels in a line, and the ride lasts around 30 minutes under strong sun — wear sunscreen! The view is beautiful, but the buggy ride seemed more exciting.
The final stop was for lunch, also in the desert, at a restaurant right next to the camel and buggy area. Unfortunately, this was the biggest disappointment of the day. The food took over an hour to be served, and while we waited, we stayed by the edge of the pool — the water was cloudy, and there were mosquito larvae visible along the pool tiles, which made us not even consider going in.
When I went to the bathroom, I passed by a back area where the staff were “cleaning” the utensils. Since water is scarce in the desert, I noticed that the plates and cutlery were being wiped with wet cloths instead of being properly washed with water and soap. When they brought the utensils to our table, the cutlery was wrapped in a wet napkin, and while the plates looked clean on top, the bottoms were filthy — probably had never been properly washed. Even though the food smelled good, we completely lost our appetite after what we saw.
Despite the disappointing lunch experience, the tour overall is worth it. It’s not an expensive tour, and you do get to enjoy a nice afternoon in the desert, with unique landscapes and a fun activity. If you’re expecting a luxury experience, I recommend looking for another type of tour — probably at a much higher cost. This is an affordable tour, and for the price you pay, I believe it delivers what it promises.
Also, we missed having more touristic or cultural information from the guide/driver. During the entire ride, he didn’t share any curiosities, explanations, or context about the desert or the places we passed through — which could have greatly enriched the experience.

Absolutely brilliant day , the views in the desert were fantastic. The quad ride was really good then onto a camel ride which was so funny. Then lunch and a dip in the pool would highly recommend to anyone
Amin_A, May 2025
I had an unforgettable time riding a quad through the desert! The experience was thrilling — we sped through sand dunes, admired stunning landscapes, and felt the adrenaline rush in every turn. The guides were professional, friendly, and made sure everyone was safe and comfortable throughout the ride.
After the ride, we enjoyed a delicious traditional lunch in a local-style setting. The food was fresh and full of flavor — a perfect way to relax and recharge after the adventure.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for fun, adventure, and a taste of local culture!

Mohamad_Y, Dec 2024
The tour group we went with for this experience was very organised and professional. Our tour guide Yassine Talaoul was excellent! He was very friendly and accommodating throughout the trip. We got to have a lovely fresh chicken tajin after a trek up the mountain with beautiful views. And the camel ride was very relaxing with desert and mountain views. Would definitely recommend!

Fun adventure with the family. Was additionally educational to travel through the area of recent earthquake and have better understanding of the effects on nearby villages from our guide. Whole day was very enjoyable for our teen and mom/dad.
Gijs_M, Dec 2024
Trip was mostly ok. Itinerary was different from advertised, it included a visit to a store where they make oil. The atlas mountain was a waterfall visit. We barely visited the against Agafay desert, the camel ride was short but fun.
In the end the guide and driver screwed everyone over by not dropping us off in our hotels where we were picked up, so everyone had to walk the last bit

The Desert & Atlas Mountains Day Trip from Marrakech was an incredible adventure! The camel ride through the desert was absolutely unforgettable and an experience like no other. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole journey even more enjoyable. We also had a delicious dinner in the mountains with stunning views all around. The landscapes were breathtaking, and the whole day was perfectly organized. Highly recommend this trip for anyone visiting Marrakech!

Our private tour was a truly magical experience. Riding camels through the desert and exploring the breathtaking Atlas Mountains left us in awe. Our driver, Abdellatif, was the best and the hospitality of the locals added a unique touch to our journey, making it an unforgettable adventure. Highly recommend this tour for anyone seeking to connect with the soul of this country.

Such AN AMAZING TRIP TO ATLAS MOUNTAINS! I booked a private tour and was blessed to have been guided by Adil! He’s so kind, a pleasure to be with and so informative!! The camel ride was also great, I enjoyed the hike up Atlas Mountains to Ouzoud Waterfall! It’s worth it when you reach!! Lunch in the Berber Village is not to be missed! Thanks again, Adil!!
Zeeshan_K, Oct 2024
LAHCEN is a wonderful tour guide and a representative of the Berber community. A kind, soft spoken and friendly gentleman who will go the extra mile to brief you of the history & geography of the region. One can get fully immersed in the Berber culture thanks to this gentleman’s knowledge.

The most memorable parts of the experience was the kindest service, genuine service, help and advice of our tour guides, Rabia and Mohammed!
Rabia came in the morning to pick us up and we joined the excursion. Her excellent English language skils, charm, knowledge of the area is very impressive!! We decided to get another excursion with camel ride and dinner in the desert. She was very quick to explain how the transfer to Mohammed's group would happen.
During the trip we had pleasant conversations, took pictures of one another. Around 5pm she took us to the restaurant where Mohammed picked us up and we had a wonderful 2nd camel ride and charming desert dinner experience!!
I highly recommend them to travelers!!
Kindly,
Dennis
