This was our best experience in Morocco! It was also the best food we ate! Everything was great, stating with the communication regarding the meetup location. The kitchen itself and everything throughout the cooking process was very clean. Ahmed and Hassan were friendly and explained Moroccan tea and cooking very well. We learned a lot. Everyone in the group divided the work into evenly under Hassan’s instructions. Our dishes turned out fantastic and we can’t wait to make the recipes at home!

Ahmed and Hassan were absolutely brilliant. We learned a lot about Moroccan culture and cuisine. The food we cooked was outstanding and tasted delicious. Great value for money, would highly recommend.
Best cooking class ever. Market visit was short, only one stop to buy vegetables. But the cooking experience was fun! And the food was DELICIOUS. Better than restaurants we've tried. Beef tajine was unforgettable! Still waiting for them to send the recipes though :)
We booked this trip as a group of 7 friends. The tour started with buying fresh veg etc from the market then a very short walk to the riad. There we learnt about Moroccan tea followed by the history and art of Moroccan food. The food we prepared was amazing and I would highly recommend this tour.
Great from start to finish, first market shopping for ingredients, history of the Mint Tea, then all hands on preparing a Tagine feat, food 10/10 guests top notch
A great afternoon!
A relaxing activity which allows you to both meet other people and learn more about the local cuisine. Both Hassan and Ahmed were amazing hosts and chef!

Thank you so much 😊
We’re glad you enjoyed the experience and meeting others. Hope to see you again!
Interactive experience with the opportunity to learn the skills of cooking Moroccan food. Hassan and his business partner were friendly keen to involve everyone and very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend this four hours will be some of the best you can spend in Marrakech and go home with new skills and abilities.
Just had a lovely time making tagines. Beef with prunes, chicken with preserved lemons, vegetarian and meatball (like a shakshuka).
There was a demonstration of making Moroccan tea that made me appreciate it more. Not as simple as I thought. I won’t ruin this for you except to say you will start making your loose leaf tea at home differently afterwards.
Lovely space and we went on the roof and could see the Atlas Mountains.
Wonderful knowledge people. Food was exquisite!

Highly recommended - thank you all.

Thank you so much!
We’re glad you enjoyed learning the tea, the cooking, and the great group atmosphere.
So happy the food was the best you tasted 😊
I had a lovely time doing this cooking class with Chef Hassoun. First we walked into the market to buy ingredients for the dishes, then walked just a short distance to the rooms where the class is held. I was amazed that Chef kept us all on task with the preparation and that by the end, we had prepared 5 different tajines, which were all delicious!
Hassan and his crew were fabulous teachers. Really enjoyed the history of the Moroccan tea and truly appreciated the traditional homestyle cooking. This was our first cooking class and we hope to found more as informative, entertaining and absolutely delicious as this one. Definitely a 5 star experience!!!
It was a very fun, hands on cooking experience. Hassan is very passionate about food and cooking. We made a variety of different Moroccan dishes which was delicious to eat 😋 We also learned how to make authentic Moroccan Mint tea. The cooking course was a highlight of our visit in Marrakesh and would highly recommend it.
Would recommend taking a cooking class with Hassan! He was easy to get along with. Hassan and his business partner did a good job of including everyone. Every dish we made was delicious with it being some of the best food we had in Morocco. There’s something for everyone and they do a good job of accommodating to any food restrictions.
This was an incredible experience. Hassan and the entire team were just amazing! The food we prepared was some of the most flavorful food we had in our time in Morocco! If you’re interested in food and cooking, this is a must do!
The trip started off with a visit to a vegetable street seller where we were asked to choose ingredients. We then head a short walk to a property with a large open plan kitchen space. Our guide explained what we were cooking then we were shown how to make Morrocan mint tea which we drank too. We were all given chopping and peeling tasks as a group. Once the prep was complete each dish was prepared by worth food explanation of how to make them and shown how to cook on gas hob. Once complete the The whole experience was inclusive and fun and the guide had lots of information about Morrocan food and also Marrakech itself. Once the food was ready we are the food. The smells were amazing and this is a great way to enjoy a good Morrocan meal.
Our cooking class was more than just learning recipes — it was an immersion into Moroccan culture and tradition. From the moment we stepped into the kitchen, we were welcomed with warmth, hospitality, and the rich aromas of spices that tell stories passed down through generations.
We learned how to prepare traditional Moroccan dishes using fresh, local ingredients, guided step by step with patience and passion. Mixing spices, slow-cooking tagines, and understanding the balance of flavors gave us a deeper appreciation for how much love and history go into Moroccan food.
What made the experience truly special was sharing the meal together at the end — enjoying what we had cooked, tasting the depth of flavors, and feeling connected not only to the cuisine but to the culture itself. It wasn’t just about food; it was about tradition, community, and the joy of cooking together.
A beautiful experience we will carry with us long after leaving Morocco. Thank you for having us 🧑🍳👩🍳
We are about 10 , good mix of family and solo travelers. We prepare 4 tagines and 2 side dishes that is on menu of the most restaurants (Fairy typical, no surprise). Host speak English and French and the class proceeded with bilingual explanation. It was nice atmosphere and the final result was quite good (I would say it taste better than what I had in a restaurants). A great way to spend half a day. A bit of different cultural experience with a good meal in the end. We supposed to receive recipes after the class but I have not received it yet after 24 hours.
Superb atmosphere from the beginning- great dynamic and really easy to follow, very tasty food at the end of it all as well

This was the standout activity that I did in a forty day itinerary, I would totally recommend this to people who love food. We sourced our ingredients from the Medina then learnt how to cook a range of traditional Moroccan dishes. Hassan was such a personable, knowledgeable teacher. I was impressed!
Great fun and we are still in touch with other people from our group.

We had such a great time at this cooking class in Marrakech! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the instructors made the whole experience fun and easy to follow. We learned a lot about traditional Moroccan ingredients and cooking techniques, and the dishes we prepared were absolutely delicious. A perfect mix of culture, flavor, and hands-on fun.
This cooking class was a fantastic experience. Chef Hassan was very friendly and walked us through each step of the cooking process, explaining how various ingredients are used in dishes. Unlike a few other cooking demonstrations I have done, this one had us participating in all steps in the preparation of multiple dishes. And, it was a good way to try various common tagine recipes. I would definitely recommend!
Great experience learnt a lot would really recommend

Great experience professionally conducted. Made 2 delicious tagines and. 2 side dishes. Definitely the best food we have eaten all holiday. Hassad conducted the class well particularly in view of the fact we were 2 French speaking and 2 English speaking participants!
