The Stairway to heaven trail is a moderate level walk for about 1.2km that you can do. The return is through the same track. Pico do Arieiro location being a highly attracted and crowded sight, we offer a hassle free service of transfer with a local driver, so that guests dont have to rent a car and pay high parking fees, aswell as parking availablity. This activity is suitable for couples, family, friends and children and sometimes requested for small events, birthdays, engangment proposals or even just a romantic moment.

The activity starts with an early pick up and a transfer to Achada do Teixeira. From there we start a 45 minutes walk to Pico Ruivo. In plain dark, using a headlight, we absorbe the dazzling sounds of the night at the mountains. Once at Pico Ruivo we attend the amazing sunrise ever... After the sunrise we do the same way back but this time we will have the sun as a guide and the views will be amazing. After the Hike we will show you some view points. Distance: 6km Hiking time: 2h NOTE : the pick up time change along the year, according to the sunrise hours.
