I requested a fun guide as we were going to spend nost of the day with them. We were presented with Mahmoud and Adbul, two young men with good humor and big smiles. Our guide Abdul was super knowledgeable. He pumped us full of info, about Egypt's entire history and then specifically about the sites around Luxor and relation between each of the sites, kings/queens and historical events. Today we were on another tour in Giza and was able to have quite the conversations with the guide who was an archeologist - proof that all the info that Abdul shared with us stuck and made us soem of the most informed tourists in Egypt this week 😁 Spend a few minutes before the tour to get a very high level overview of what it is you will be seeing and from what period. Ask for Mahmoud and Abdul, I guarantee you will enjoy the day and feel like a semi professional egyptologist in the afternoon. So much to see and absorb - choose to do so with Mahmoud and Abdul.

Yes, Yes, Yes!!!!! I highly recommend this experience. The guide was amazing and a true Egyptologist. His wisdom was beyond anything I have ever heard. Do be prepare to do lots of walking but it's totally worth it. Loved that it was private and catered to our needs.
