Tour to be feel like local Londoner

Maha was an amazing tour guide. We walked a lot but felt like locals, taking the underground and double decker bus, etc. He was very patient as we wanted to enjoy experience by taking pictures in front of most ionic landmarks , buying of souvenirs, etc. He took us to a great pub where they served very tasty English food, including the traditional fish with chips and sausages. The tour was a last minute decision but turned out to be a memorable experience.

Best London tour and experience we have had in Europe!

Stuart was INCREDIBLE!! He was fantastic with loads of information and suggestions. Great attitude and tour guide for the must see sights. He was hilarious and so fun to talk with. Great for friend groups or families. He also had a great historical knowledge of the city that made the drive/tour super interesting! Stuart also was a photographer in one of his past careers and got out with us and took photos of us at each spot. And the best part is the photos were EXCELLENT! Only regret is we only booked for 2 hours. Stuart recommends 3 hours and to be done before 2pm to miss traffic and get the best bang for your buck.

Lovely Thames River Cruise from Westminster to Greenwich

We really enjoyed our one-way cruise along the Thames from Westminster to Greenwich. It’s a beautiful and relaxing way to see London from a different perspective, with iconic landmarks unfolding one after another as you glide down the river. The commentary on board added a nice touch, giving us interesting snippets of history without feeling overwhelming. We chose to take the one-sided trip and return to Central London by Metro, which worked perfectly. It gave us the freedom to explore Greenwich at our own pace and then head back quickly and conveniently. Overall, it was a smooth, scenic, and enjoyable experience—an easy recommendation for anyone wanting to enjoy London from the water.

Human History Conversation

Walking through the museum with our guide Ivo was less of a tour and more of a fascinating discussion of human civilization, empires, language, and religion all while seeing exquisite pieces on display. Ivo was passionate about history and wasn’t afraid to address controversial topics. We could have walked with him for hours. He even suggested several podcasts that are focused on history. I would highly recommend requesting Ivo as your guide if you want to dive deeper into history and not just look at artifacts.

Excellent host-family fun and well worth our time and money

We had an incredible experience. Our driver Terry messaged us the day before to confirm and arrived early. He shared our enthusiasm for history and gave us so much unique insight into every stop we made. He showed us all the places we wanted to go and then some. He was professional and friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. It was a history tour beyond what you could find in books or on a HoHo tour. Highly recommend!

Best tour guide of London

This tour was excellent from the beginning, Dennis was very organized. The historical sites he took us to were fantastic and his knowledge of each one delivered with a clear and concise explanation made each stop worth the time. He was very flexible with the sites we wanted to see and adapted to our requests. He always pointed out what was coming up and to get our cameras ready! Dennis is a historian for London. One of the best tours we have taken with Viator! He even escorted us to a local pub and restaurant that was not crowded and the food was excellent! We were in London over the new year everything was totally packed and he took the time to take us to spots that allowed us to take excellent pictures without fighting the crowds!
