We had a great tour of Lima. There were two adults and two children (tween and teen). We had less than 10 hours in Lima, on a layover. Leandro was our guide and was amazing. We were lucky to see a a Good Friday procession down the square. I would recommend this tour.

Marie Carmen & Ischmiel picked us up at an arranged meeting place. Once there we found them easily as they had a sign with my name clearly printed. Both were kind and friendly saying hello and giving a quick friendly hug. We started at the Museo Larco, omg, what an amazingly beautiful site. The museum was very informative and had excellent displays and Marie Carmen answered our questions and explained all in detail. Her knowledge of Lima was quite impressive. She had made us a reservation for lunch at the restaurant there, she dropped us to have our lunch (this was planned but not included in tour price). We had a wonderful lunch. They were both waiting for us at the entrance to the museum to head out to our next stops. Seeing Lima was fantastic, we could not have asked for a better guide and driver. At one point we decided we wanted to walk around an area we didn't realize was just a local area (they did try to warn me!) there was no tourist shops or anything to see. I thought I saw an open air style shops so marie carmen said ok, apparently it wasn't my best decision but Ishmiel, in his confident and quiet way walked right behind us (I did not realize it until half way through this short walk) but he literally guarded us to be sure no trouble found us. We truly could not have had a better guide and driver/guard 😁 and they are both wonderful people, both were kind, friendly engaging and patient! We often do private tours in cities we are interested in really seeing and getting a good look at but this time in Lima it was by far one of, if not the best, we have had. The people we were lucky to have showing us around made it a fun and informative day. I can not recommend Marie Carmen and Ischmiel enough, they are both just wonderful people who know and do their jobs well. By the end of the tour it was like seeing the city with new friends! I hope everyone who tours has as great an experience in Lima as we did. Thank you Marie Carmen and Ischmiel for a memorable day in Lima.

Lovely tour with Maverick, Alexis and Miguel the driver. We ended up having a private tour and enjoyed the new minibus driving us from place to place. All the foods were really tasty - especially the sandwich with fried fish to start, the ceviche and the chicha morada. We didn't see loads of art but we think we ran out of time having lovely food and conversation with the two guides.
