Yui was super communicative and very warm and friendly! She took us all around the Gion district and nearby shrines. She explained to us how to navigate the shrines (the customs around entry, offering, and prayer) as well as the purpose each one served, and she gave us ample opportunities along the way to take photos or participate if we wanted to. She was very knowledgeable, and we learned a lot about the area and culture that we took with us on our future days in Kyoto. Overall, I really enjoyed this tour, and it felt thorough and well worth the time and money! Thanks again to Yui; she really was great! She even helped with some questions I had after-the-fact and recommended a good shopping area and some good restaurants.

Malik was our driver and tour guide for the day; he made a difficult itinerary with 2 kids and a stroller toddler a breeze! Plenty of rest room stops and suggestions for navigating each location with the stroller. Never rushed us when stopping, highly recommend! We had a four private tour in Kyoto with Yuka. Great communication, friendly and very knowledgeable. She shared history and information about each spot we asked to see, made great suggestions to round out our time and her input made each spot feel more personal. Yuka was a pleasure to be with, patient and understanding with the four of us (2 of us who all over taking pictures) just a perfect guided time. Truly. Thank you Yuka!

My friend and I were visiting from Hawaii and had Shun as our guide. The tour itself was amazing - we were taken on private paths within the forest, along with less crowded areas in the neighborhood. Shun was incredible- so kind, fun and patiently took great photos of us. He was a bonus to an already great time. Highly recommend :)

Our day in Kyoto was absolutely unforgettable thanks to Harumi. She had planned our itinerary in such a way that we arrived at places before it got crowded. Her knowledge of the 'Shogun' history and the cinematic spots like the Memoirs of a Geisha gates was incredible. A huge bonus was that she took so many wonderful photos of our family, so we could just enjoy the moment without worrying about our phones. She is kind, professional, and so thoughtful. We couldn't have asked for a better Kyoto experience!

Our Kyoto day trip was absolutely unforgettable, and it was all thanks to Ko! 🎋 From the peaceful beauty of Komyoin Temple and Hashin Garden to the vibrant torii gates of Fushimi Inari Shrine, Ko made every stop meaningful with stories and insights we never would’ve discovered on our own. He is an excellent photographer as well as he knows all the angles to capture the perfect photo of our family while blocking out the crowds in the background - amazing! Walking through the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest felt magical, and the hike up to the Monkey Park was such a fun and rewarding experience — Ko kept the energy high the whole time! We also explored the charming streets of Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka and it felt like stepping back in time. We also had a quick stop at the Shinsen-en Temple with the Koi pond where our kids enjoyed feeding the giant koi fishes! Ko was knowledgeable, organized, and incredibly thoughtful — making sure everyone was comfortable (moving the van closer to us each time so no need to walk far), enjoying each moment . We learned so much about Kyoto’s history and culture while still having plenty of laughs along the way. Highly recommend Ko if you want a Kyoto experience that’s seamless, fun, and truly memorable. Thank you for such an amazing day!

A highlight of our trip. I unexpectedly found myself in a wheelchair unable to walk lots so this was a way to see the city still and it turned out to be one of our best Japanese experiences. We had Fumi and Kai as our guides and they were funny, knowledgeable, chatty and incredibly fit! We saw so much in our 2 hours with time to explore various areas.

Josh is excellent! He made sure to optimize our schedule according to major tourism times so that we could avoid overcrowding as much as possible during our 7 hour tour. He had great recommendations for shopping areas and lunch. Our tour was incredibly informative and he was so nice. I highly recommend.
