It's was a great experience, our driver/tour guide was Peter, he was amazing I have nothing but praise to say. He was very informative and speaks English very well. Zakopane is beautiful not to be missed. The tour is worth every penny. Thanks viator and mostly thank you Peter

We had a fantastic trip to Zakopane with Krak Tours! The drive through the beautiful countryside and Tatra region was stunning from start to finish. Our driver and guide, Cornel, was top-notch—he brought immense local knowledge to the journey, sharing everything with fun, engaging, and friendly explanations that made the history and culture really come alive. Our driver and guide was Piotr and he went above and beyond. His knowledge was outstanding. The view of Tatra mountains was amazing. We had 3hrs free time to do what we wanted we wish we had more time as lots to see and do. I would highly recommend this tour.

Our tour guide Peter was excellent. So personalable and easy to talk to and fun. We enjoyed the wood houses and the wooden church. Unfortunately it was very cloudy and rainy when we got to Zakapone and we couldn’t see anything of the mountains. I would recommend this tour company and Peter as your guide. But if your plans are flexible and rain is in the forecast I would recommend that you reschedule for a sunny day.

Our guide, David, was fantastic - really helpful and knowledgeable. Take some warmer clothes as it tends to feel a little cooler in the mountain regions. A wonderful trip - the local smoked cheese is delicious, and the wooden homes full of charm and character!

Lovely trip to Zakopane

We were met by Julia our guide and minibus driver at our hotel at 8.30am and were taken to Chocholow a sweet little village with houses made of wood. After exploring there, we then drove on to a little roadside chalet called Bacowkaujacka where we sampled cherry vodka and smoked cheese. It was delicious. We then made our way to Zakopane and spent three hours there. We went on the funicular to take us up to Gupakowka, where enjoyed beautiful views of the mountains. There were lots of stalls and places to eat there. We then came back down to walk around the city. We had a nice lunch in one of the hotel restaurants. There were lots of stalls selling various souvenirs. On our way back we stopped off to see a pretty wooden church nestled in a wood. We arrived back to our hotel at 5.30pm. A really enjoyable day and Julia our driver/guide was excellent, she was very knowledgable and helpful and we really enjoyed her company. Highly recommend this trip.

Great day, but couple of nuances

Was a great day. 3 hours in Zakopane is a lot, there is not that much to see and do for 3 hours. 2-2,5h would have been ok. And on the way back I didn’t understand why we missed my hotel and went to drop off other first even though my hotel was on the way

i’m glad we went on this tour as we got to see things we wouldn’t have known to see ourselves. zakopane itself was a bit boring because it was all the same tourist shops but the little stops leading up to it was worth it & our driver david was great.

This was an extremely enjoyable event. Our guide and driver, Thomas, was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly young man. All timings were maintained and no issues through the entire day. Thomas also provided us all will tips for restaurants and other places to visit on krakow and surrounds. Highly recommended.

Excellent day trip. Our tour guide was Peter, we were collected on time from the hotel along with the others on our tour, Peter was knowledgeable and helpful throughout the full experience. All the stops run to schedule and we had exactly the right amount of time at each stop. Zakopane and the surrounding areas were beautiful and I would highly recommend to get a day out of the city.

Phenomenal tour with Bart

Itinerary was exactly what I expected. Absolutely loved how small the group was (only 3 people). Our tour guide was Bart and he told us a lot about his country and how amazing Polish culture is. He was a great driver and even shaved off a lot off time driving with shortcuts. Tour was lots of learning from Bob and the rest was free time in each part of the itinerary. Great tour and highly recommend.

Good to get out of the Cities and see the Mountains. A bit touristy at top of mountain but if walk to the left can get into countryside. Tom was excellent guide and driver, interesting perspective, being local but having lived in England for several years.

Amazing Trip to Zakopane

I would highly recommend this trip to Zakopane and especially our driver and guide Casper! First, the tour was fantastic and the drive from Krakow was easy and enjoyable! Seeing the Wooden Church, ski jump, Zakopane, wooden villages, etc would not have been easy on our own without the tour. It felt like there was a good amount of time spent at each location and it made for a seem less experience! The restaurant with the view of the mountain was great too! Our guide Casper was great and he did an incredible job sharing information about the locations while also providing a fun experience for us! He has us laughing many times and he greatly added to our experience! Next time we are in Poland we would love to have another tour led by Casper! I would say to book this tour if you want to see a lot of southern Poland in one day without feeling the stress of planning each spot on your own! And make sure to ask for Casper!

Been on several tours with this company and they never disappoint. Places of interest were well thought out, guide Bart very knowledgeably, friendly and entertaining. Though it was rainy on the day which obviously limiting some of the scenery, it didn’t detract from the trip thanks to the guide Bart.
