Long Day Well Spent
If you’re short on days, this would be the tour format to go for. We were a little anxious that the start was too early and the length of the tour was really long but since the stops were well paced, we could get rest in pockets and in the end enjoyed the tour! John was a really chilled out guide and made the entire experience enjoyable.

5 star tour
Zhenis was an exceptional tour guide. I booked this overnight tour on viator (Kolsai Kaindy Lakes with Charyn Canyons). The bus they used was modern and comfortable, and the driver drove safely. Both lakes were very beautiful and the food provided was of high quality. As well, the yurt was comfortable and the beds were soft. As an American, the canyons were repetitive due to the grand canyons in Arizona but nonetheless for most others they will be extremely cool. Overall easily 5 stars among the best tours l've done. The only recommendation I would add is to add more pick up points in the future. Would be easier for the guests. It's not like the time was essential as we got to the overnight accommodations before 6pm. 3 is less than what I would expect for a city as big as Almaty.

My guide was Nargiza and I cannot praise her highly enough. An in depth knowledge of the history of Almaty and Kazakhstan given to me in perfect English. She will tailor a tour for you including a shopping for souvenirs opportunity if desired. Even bargained for me and obtained a price reduction. She is warm, funny and a delight to be around. Book her!!!

Chill and relax trip....
Chill and relax trip. Everything is hassle free. Everything is good about the trip however, I think it maybe a little short? Anyway, still a good trip. Our guide Yerkin is also knowlegeable about the place and has shared helpful information. His extra effort with the drone shots is a big plus. Big Almaty lake’s beauty is easily seen with those drone shots.

Fantastic day out with lots of activities and sights
The locations we went to were great - not too rushed and not too lax. Aigerim, our guide was a gem. She managed our group well gave us information in a timely manner and was a lot of fun. I/ we got lucky with a great group with a similar vibe - which really made the full day trip all the more special

Fantastic tour! So many...
Fantastic tour! So many natural wonder to see in one day! Charyn, Kolsay and Kaindy are all beautiful and very unique. In addition to enjoying natural wonders we also rode horses and had a very cool photoshoot in national outfits. It's a long tour but absolutely worth it! We got a lot to see and do without feeling rushed. The drive was very comfortable and beautiful. Our guide Aikerim did an excellent job

Echoes Through Charyn Canyon
We had a wonderful time visiting Charyn Canyon in Kazakhstan. The scenery was breathtaking, and the canyon left us speechless.
Thanks to our guide, Moon, who was friendly and made the trip memorable for us. Her stories made the journey even more enjoyable!
The local food was excellent, especially the lagman and duck dish.
We were also impressed by the driver’s skill. Despite the long drive from Almaty, the ride was smooth and comfortable.
Highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience Kazakhstan’s beautiful nature and warm hospitality:)

Unforgettable 2 Days in Altyn-Emel – Jaw-Dropping Views & Excellent Guiding!
We booked a 2-day trip to Altyn-Emel National Park with Kazakhstan Very Nice, and it was incredible! Our guide, Kassym, was fantastic—extremely welcoming and deeply knowledgeable about the history and million-year-old geology of these natural wonders.
The itinerary was perfect: we visited the 600-year-old willow tree, the volcanic Katutau mountains, and went on an adventurous hike through the breathtaking, colorful Aktau mountains. We stayed overnight at Basshi village, where we enjoyed relaxing accommodations and a decent vegetarian meal. Finishing the trip at the Singing Dunes the next morning was unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Great 8.5 hour private tour with Nura
Despite being only a 19-year-old college student, Nura was poised, intelligent, interesting, and professional, and gave us a great, fascinating tour of everything important in Astana. He was even able to adjust the tour to show us something extra that interested us, taking us to a synagogue instead of a church. He had his own beautiful car and really knew the city and history well.

Karina was the best tour guide!
Karina was an amazing tour guide. She is very energetic, friendly, and easy to talk to. She made sure everyone felt included and comfortable throughout the trip. She kept the group engaged, helped us take nice photos, and always reminded us of the timings so everything ran smoothly.
She also shared helpful tips on what to do in Almaty, including food, places to visit, and other tours to try with Panda Tours. Her recommendations were very useful and made our trip even better.
Karina is very organised, caring, and attentive. She always checked on us and made sure everyone was enjoying. You can really see that she loves what she does.
I would definitely join this tour again, and I hope to have Karina as our guide next time. Highly recommended.

This was by far the best...
This was by far the best tour I've been on, and it was entirely due to my guide, Alan. Astana is a fascinating city, but Alan elevated this experience even more with his incredible knowledge and genuine passion for the Kazakh people and culture. There are guides... and then there are guides of Alan's level. I have taken many tours and never had a guide like Alan.
All in all, this is a great introduction to some of Astana's incredible sights. If you have limited time in Astana, highly recommend this tour. If you can get Alan as your guide, it will be even better.

An absolute must-do - fantastic tour
This tour was incredible! The canyons and lakes are stunning, and a must-see for anyone visiting Kazakhstan. The tour itself is brilliant - perfectly timed to fit everything in, with an amazing meal in a guest house and a very fun off-road ride in a Soviet UAZ truck that I’ll never forget. Our tour guide Serzh was informative and funny, giving us lots of interesting information about the region and Kazakhstan’s history. If you are travelling to Almaty, you should absolutely do this tour. It’s a long day (5:30am pickup, usually back by 8-10pm depending on the size of the group), but it is absolutely worth the early start. Thank you Serzh!

Kazakhstan is a special place that welcomes all types of travelers, from nature and culture lovers to skiers to hikers. The small country really wows in the outdoor adventure department; expert guides can take you into canyons and mountains, across glacial lakes, and to stunning wildflower fields. You can also find Kazakhstan tours that showcase the country’s architecture and culture, whether in the modern cities of Almaty and Astana or traditional villages that follow a nomadic way of life.
