I had a private tour. We saw the highlights of the city. We went up the observation tower, had tea at the famous mall, and entered the Central Mosque.

The Grand Mosque and the Expo Centre are amazing. My tour guide Dariya was wonderful. The driver was very accommodating.

I didn't know what to expect in Astana, but I was pleasantly surprised with what I saw and learned. The guide was able to bring the city to life by indicating why certain monuments were built, and why they are significant for the city. I entered a mosque for the first time in my life as well.

My guide was Nargiz. It was such a pleasure to meet such a beautiful person, so knowledgeable and proud of her culture. The 5 hours spent with her gave me the confidence and understanding to go forth and explore the city further in the afternoon. A perfect day in Nur-sultan.

When I booked this tour I didn't realise it was a private tour, so I was pleasantly surprised to have my guide Zhanel as my personal guide and chauffeur for the day. Zhanel, was very pleasant, attentive, knowledgeable and informative about the city and drove me to the main sites to see in a concise manner. Of course a private tour is more expensive by nature, but not realising it was a such I thought the price to be a little too expensive initially. However, given the circumstances and good day we had I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Zhanel and her company to other travellers visiting Nur Sultan.
