A 10-hour tour to the Assy Plateau will give you the opportunity to visit one of the most non-tourist natural areas of the Almaty region. After passing through Turgen gorge (another 40km, 45min) we will reach Having passed the Turgen Gorge, we find ourselves on the plateau itself. After a 10-15 minute trip along the plateau, driver will drop you off and a trekking tour awaits you to the observatory itself. Also there are Tien Shan fir trees that grow at an altitude of 1500-3000 meters and grow in the shade.

Take a guided climb in the mountains around Almaty. Depending on your needs and ability level we can choose you an easy climb or more challenging adventure. First day is an approach day. Depending on your objective we’ll head to the mountains to spend night in tent or in cozy dormitory of Tuyuk-Su alpine camp. In the morning of the second day we will wake up early to go even higher and do some climbing either it’s easy scrambling to the nearest peak, or more challenging route to the one above 4000m.

The Kok Zhailau high mountain pasture is the favorite place for mountain hiking among all residents and tourists of Almaty. The route is easy and suitable for beginners with good health and fitness experience. It offers breathtaking views of the Tien Shan Mountains and a complete panorama of the city of Almaty. Our climb takes about 3 hours and the way back takes 2 hours. This is real mountain fitness and trekking for the whole day with a visit to a beautiful place in the reserve.
