The Jeju Haenyeo performance runs every day at 2pm. The venue for the Haenyeo performance is Seongsan Ilchulbong Beach. In case of bad weather, it will be canceled suddenly. The haenyeo performance will show 10 minutes of haenyeo singing and 10 minutes of haenyeo material work in the sea. Even if you do not have a ticket to Seongsan Ilchulbong, you can watch the haenyeo performance for free. The course to the left of Seongsan Ilchulbong is open free of charge every year. If you go to the free open course on the left and come out of the stairs, go down the stairs to the beach to see the haenyeo performance. Incredible Way to Experience Jeju—Be Ready to Walk!

This was an outstanding tour and one of the highlights of our trip to Jeju. If you’re looking for an active, immersive experience rather than simply driving from stop to stop, this is the perfect tour. There is quite a bit of walking, so wear comfortable shoes, but it’s absolutely worth it. One of the most memorable stops was the black volcanic beach where the haenyeo (women divers) gave a diving demonstration. The scenery looked like something straight out of Jurassic Park—dramatic black lava rock against crystal-clear turquoise water. Even standing on the shore, we could see vibrant marine life beneath the calm, transparent water. Watching the haenyeo dive for just 10 minutes and emerge with fresh seafood was amazing and really showcased their incredible skill. It made us imagine how spectacular snorkeling there must be. Hamdeok Beach was another highlight, with its stunning white sand and brilliant blue water. It’s easily one of the most beautiful beaches we’ve visited. The visit to Manjanggul Lava Tube was unlike anything we’ve experienced before. Walking through the ancient lava cave was fascinating, and the naturally cool temperature was a welcome escape from Jeju’s hot, humid summer weather. Overall, this tour offers an excellent mix of nature, culture, and adventure. If you don’t mind walking and want to experience some of Jeju’s most breathtaking sights up close, I highly recommend it. It’s a fantastic way to truly appreciate the island’s unique beauty.

The private tour was so great due to our amazing guide - Jina! Jina was the perfect balance of knowledge and fun. She helped us with making sure our experience was all that we had hoped for - pointing key sites and points of interests at each stop to make sure didn't miss something. Jina always made sure we were on the right path and the plan before sending us off for family site seeing time. She also ensured we had family pictures, and that we maximized our time by ordering our lunch ahead of time. She followed our lead, as far as timing went but also kept us on track. Great day in Jeju with Elin

Ding dong dang, if you know, then you know Jeju Moma Elin! We had a great day with Moma Elin. She did everything from Korean language lessons, Jeju history and facts, game show host and tour guide. She made the time on the bus go by fast with Korean snacks and gifts, all while filling us in on our next stop and keeping us organized with valuable time goals. We made stops at Sunrise Peak, Michele cave, Seongeup Folk village and Dongmun Market. All of this was well organized and Jeju mama kept us moving. We have a nice black pork lunch with rice wine. When the tour ended it felt like saying good bye to a family member! Gamsahabnida Jeju Moma Elin!

Intimate tour filled with culture and history

I went on the Jeju Eastern UNESCO Sites Tour with my mom and my partner. It was a packed day and so much fun. I learned a lot about Jeju history and culture. The tour group was small so it made the whole experience intimate. I was worried my mom would feel bored or left out since English is not her first language, but Michael the tour guide made sure to talk to her a lot in Korean so that she felt included. My partner, mom and I had so much fun. I recommend this tour.

Best way to see Jeju

My friend and I booked this tour for two days and it was an excellent experience. Our guide Mr. Cho was the best! He was super punctual, really friendly and helpful. And while we had made our own itinerary, he gave 1-2 very helpful suggestions to make it better. He helped us plan the route so we could maximize our time without feeling rushed. And also helped us order in restaurants which we really appreciated. Everything from pick up to navigation to communication (pre and during trip) was super smooth and easy! The car they sent was really comfortable. I have a back injury and I didn’t have any problems. This tour is worth the price. I highly recommend it! We took NCL Spirit cruise, which included a stop in Jeju. Our driver/guide in Jeju was Jimmy. He was excellent. He reached out a few days before to ask about our preferences. He was very quick with responding to questions. We visited the Eastern side of the island, includig Folk Village, Lava Cave, and Sunrise Peak. We were hoping to see the Women divers, but they didn't have a show that day. Jimmy also took us a great restaurant for lunch. He was also very helpful with a family member in a wheelchair. I highly recommend that you book a tour with Jimmy. We did all the activities in 5.5 hours, with enough time to have a leisurely return to the cruise ship. Thank you Jimmy for a very memorable experience in Jeju!
