Paul was a fantastic tour guide! I can’t say enough about how well he planned our day and tailored our itinerary to exactly what we would find interesting. Not only would we never have found the cool stuff like tangerine picking, and all the best Olle trail hikes, but we was so incredibly efficient that we got twice as much stuff done than we could have on our own. We only had a couple of days on Jeju and Paul made it possible for us to do everything on our list. He also had great suggestions for restaurants and cafes for us, and brought a wealth of insider knowledge and insight that was invaluable in making this a magical and memorable experience for our family. Thank you again for a wonderful tour Paul!

Our Tour guide cum driver Angelo is very professional and helpful.
He helped to take a lot nice photo for our family.
Though it is our own customised itinerary, he also manged to include my daughters request to include few nice & popular cafes.

Its a completely personalised tour and hence can be modified to the way you want to pace it. This being the last leg of our Korea trip, we wanted it to be relaxing yet engaging; and Paul made it just that. With ample and more knowledge of the island and its surroundings, he was a treat to be with. Would highly recommend him to travellers.

Our day tour with Jay was just about perfect! He took us everywhere we asked to go… even the location for lunch we hoped to go to, which was out of the way. He took plenty of photos for us, catching angles we wouldn’t have been able to achieve as selfies. He provided a lot of fun facts, and when he didn’t know the answer to something, he found it out for us. He was polite, professional, the ride was comfortable…we couldn’t have asked for a better tour of Jeju Island!

Had an excellent experience with Paul, he is extremely knowledgeable and kind. He went out of his way to make our journey pleasant and hassle-free, and the attractions he recommended were on point. Highlights were the Manjanggul Lava Tube and Haenyeo museum, which were really intriguing and gave us a lot of insight into the unique culture of Jeju-do. Would definitely look for Paul again on my next visit!

Lily was our tour guide for our group of 13 family and friends. The tour company booked through Viator was very accommodating because we initially had to book to separate tours in order to accommodate our large group. When asked if we could coordinate the 2 separate tours, the tour company provided a large shuttle bus for our entire group.
I provided a list of places we wanted to see beforehand and left it up to Lily and the tour company to design our 2 day tour. We all had an awesome time with Lily as our guide. Places we saw: Cheonjiyeon Falls, Yakchusa Temple, Jungman saekdal Beach, Spirited Garden, Jeju Stone Park, Sunrise Peak, Manjuggal Lava Tube. We were a group ranging from ages 25-70 years old and we all had a blast. Lily is well traveled herself and spoke excellent English. She also arranged for us to have lunch at a restaurant specializing in black pork, something the group especially wanted to try. The pork and seafood we ate was delicious We also had a wonderful bulgogi lunch our 2nd day.
We all had a great time on Jeju Island thanks to Lily!

A fabulous day in Jeju Island. Our guide, Billie asked us what we were interested in and took us to such spots- the Manjanggul Cave and the Haenyeo homes were particularly interesting. The pace is relaxing and there was enough time for pictures.
We also got suggestions for food and were taken to a great place for dinner.

Very disappointed. Let me explain. We originally setup our tour on Tues 31st of May. Hearing great things about a tour guide, June, who spoke english we decided to book this expedition. The communication with June was very good via WhatsApp. She asked could we change the tour to Wednesday June 1st so she could do the guide. We accepted the change to have her as our guide. A couple of days before the excursion, she said she needed to assign another guide due to some office issues, but assured us the guide spoke english. We accepted the change again. Before the trip, June asked if there were anything in Jeju we wanted to see. We said we have never been to Jeju, but the ONLY 2 things we wanted to see as a family was the Lava Tube Caves and the Women Diver museum. These two things were a "Must". Unfortunately when the driver took us close to the Lava Tube Caves, he said they were close the 1st Weds of every month! We were NOT HAPPY! We wanted to hit 2 things of the 5-6 place agenda. They asked us to change from Tues to Weds to have June guide. Then she couldn't guide and got us another guide named Paul. Then we find out Lave Tube Caves are closed! Now, I would expect a tour guide company to know, as the PROFESSIONAL GUIDES, when attractions, national parks, museums, etc... are closed. They are the professional guides! Needless to say, the trip was not cheap, but for a family trip it wasn't a concern. We were very disappointed to have this trip to Jeju be a major miss.
Now for the other possible people looking at this tour option. Please be aware, because we were not......
1. Make sure all of the attractions you wish to see are indeed OPEN.
2. Understand that you will also have to pay for all of the attractions in addition to the guide trip payment. All of the museums, national parks, parking fees, etc.
3. Lunch was not provided, that is ok, BUT they take you to a restaurant where they order the food for you AND you have to pay. I don't mind paying, but we had a daughter that didn't like seafood and if we knew we were going to pay, we would have pick a different restaurant where the whole family would have been able to eat. Not only eat, but pick what we would like to eat from the menu, not have a pre ordered seafood dish that just came out without ordering personally. Then have to pay for dishes we didn't order was just not right.
*** Now I want to say the positives. The second guide we got, Paul, was very nice. Spoke English very well and was extremely knowledgeable about the Island, history, nature and the historical sites. I give him a 5 Star as far as a guide. Would recommend him to any English speaking tourist coming to Jeju. I give this Viator Tour a 3 star, but really would like to give it a 2.5 Star due to the lack of knowledge of the places the tourist want to see as well as not explaining all of the ancillary charges they must pay in addition to the expensive price paid online.***
Overall, if you read this story, please be VERY aware of the issues we faced as a family traveling to Jeju on our Bucket List.

We had a wonderful time with Jin as our driver, and would wholeheartedly recommend his tour company to others. We’re experienced travelers with pretty high standards, and our experience with Jin exceeded all of them! Jin was incredibly thoughtful and communicative, revising our itinerary multiple times as we changed our minds on what we wanted to do. We ended up doing Hallim Park, Osulloc tea plantation, and Jeongbang and Cheonjiyeon waterfalls. Jin was flexible with our timing, a very safe and smooth driver, had great recommendations on food and products (like what baked goods and tea to try at the plantation), and gave us as much privacy or support as we wanted. It was also really wonderful to hear about his background and his perspective on Korean/Jeju culture, and you can tell very clearly that he is a kind man who works incredibly hard to care for his wife and children. After our tour, Jin went the extra mile to help us plan our itinerary for our other days in Jeju, and recommended to us a black pork restaurant that served the best pork we’d ever had. You will not regret spending your time or money with his business!

It was my family's first trip to Jeju and we wanted to spend one day doing a guided tour. After looking at various options, we chose this private tour because it was flexible/customizable. And cost wise, it really wasn't that different from the group tour options.
June was the tour guide and she was amazing. She called a few days prior to the tour and helped put the itinerary together based on our interests.
We visited Manjanggul Lava Tube, Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak, Horse back riding, as well as lunch and a drive through the Folk Village.
The best thing about this private tour is we were in complete control of when and where we wanted to go. We switched things around mid tour and added a stop (Folk Village) at the last minute because it was on the way back to our hotel.
June is super patient and has a ton of knowledge about the island so I was able to learn some new things today.
I definitely recommend this tour over the various group tours and will book again next time we come to Jeju.

Our private tour with the awesome guide Jy ! Was perfect to say the least!
It all started with custom selection of the days activities followed by an excellent tour of three of the islands top spots.
The bus was well appointed and comfortable, and the timing at each site was just right, even the crazy moving lunch!
We brought along our own music to listen to and we also had JY give us a K-pop lesson. The day finished with a full on song
Medley everyone including JY and the driver were singing classic rock! We highly recommended this tour operated by core travel
Dr Don MacRae and the crazy Canadian tourists!!
