Amazing your!
Excellent tour of some of the major sites in Istanbul. Our guide, Oguzhan, was awesome. Very knowledgeable, perfect pacing of sites, and excellent English. Sign up to learn some history, see some beautiful expressions of art, eat some good food, drink plenty of tea and coffee. Cannot recommend enough.

Very helpful guide
We did not get our guide's name but we thought he did a great job. He maneuvered us to different parts of the tour in a manner that avoided many of the crowds. We were disappointed that several areas were closed for renovation but our guide was very helpful in describing what was there.

Great tour, outstanding guide!
Eda was a truly outstanding guide. I’ve been on many tours in various countries, and she is one of the best guides I’ve had. Very knowledgeable and eager to answer any questions and discuss a variety of topics. She also went above and beyond to create exactly the type of experience we wanted, including adding a trip to a traditional Turkish tea house that I don’t think anyone, but a local would ever fine. It was hidden in a half abandoned building with a bunch of workshops in it. However, we had a spectacular view while we enjoyed our drinks and conversation. All of the main stops on the tour were excellent as well. A great introduction to and overview of these main historic spots as well as Turkish history. Highly recommend.

Great tour personally tailored to your group
Antea was a fabulous guide. Patient and knowledgeable. This tour is such good value considering it’s for your group only. You can completely tailor it to your liking.
We paid entrance fees to visit the Bascilica Cistern - Antea was able to skip us to the front of the line at this location which was a bonus.
We also paid entrance fees to the Topaki Palace - which was amazing and well worth it. There wasn’t really much of a line here as it was our first stop she was able to get what we needed much faster than we would have been able to.
We skipped the blue mosque (we did the tour on a Friday which is when mosques are closed for the morning) so the line was huge.
However we went early the next morning (opens at 8.30- we arrived at 8.10 and were first in line)
We skipped the Hagia Sophia as it was also closed in the morning and under renovation.
If we had wanted to line up at either of the places we skipped Antea would have been more than happy to do that with us.
Highly recommend this tour and Antea especially.
Ps. We did go to a carpet shop - amazing to see. There was no pressure to buy - but if you did want to buy this would be a good place to start.
Thank you

Fanstastic tour with great guide
We arranged a private tour with Viator. Our guide was Murat.
We had arranged to visit the Bascillia Cistern and Topaki Palace. Murat arrived on time. He was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. We learnt a great deal about the ancient history of Instanbul but also life in the current day.
We would highly recommend him.

Day In Istanbul
I was in Istanbul for a brief layover and had just one day to sightsee. This tour was amazing as I hit all the major landmarks. My guide, Lutfullah, was amazing, and I would definitely use him again. He was punctual, knowledgeable, and courteous. Overall, I would highly recommend this tour and guide for anyone.

Excellent tour of Istanbul sites
Omar was a terrific guide. He had a great knowledge of the history of all the sites and explained everything in detail. We especially loved stopping for coffee at the local coffee house. He even helped us get the best price at the Grand Bazaar. A great tour

Cruise to the Black Sea
Muzaffer was an amazing host. Meet us at the pier and served a wonderful breakfast of fresh baked Turkish breads. Ram was the tour guide who gave us so much information on the sights and Turkish history. Both were so kind. The yacht tour was so impressive. We road up the Bosphorus right to the bridge that opens up to the Black Sea. We stopped at a palace, a fortress and a quaint fishing village where we had a fabulous fresh fish lunch by the Bosphorus. Absolutely loved the entire experience

This is a walking tour....
This is a walking tour. You will do a lot of walking throughout the city. Our guide Savas was an amazing young man. He had passion for his city and was an absolute pleasure. We visited during a religious holiday so many attractions were closed or had extensive waiting lines. He was flexible with the plans and was extremely accommodating for any requests we had. He also respected any additional cost that we could incur for bypassing lines or having lunch. We could not recommend this guide any more!

Istanbul Adventures with Ezgi
We had a great time with Ezgi in Istanbul! Her knowledge about the history and architecture of the various places we visited was impressive and made the excursion all the more enjoyable. She was able to steer us away from some of the more obvious tourist traps and used her experience and connections with some of the local vendors to get us into places faster and easier. She was even willing to indulge us by waiting in a lengthy (but fast moving) line to see the Blue Mosque.
I’ll never forget her quick thinking when we started getting hounded by all the rug merchants in the Grand Bazaar. I had just purchased a rug from a trusted vendor outside the market and the bag they gave me made it obvious to all the other vendors at the Bazaar that I had just bought one. They were eager to help me buy more when Ezgi had the brilliant idea to put the bag inside another one to disguise it.
She also made an excellent suggestion for lunch at Rumeli Kebab & Steak House. Not only was the food delicious but the waitstaff were funny and engaging. Highly recommended Ezgi for your future Istanbul tours and Rumeli for the food and atmosphere.

Extremely knowledgeable guide
The half day tour was just enough for us. Baris our guide was extremely knowledgeable the tour did run over time and sadly we had to leave due to other commitments. There was great communication beforehand about the extra costs and dress code for ladies at the mosque and meeting place.

We had a great experience...
We had a great experience with Melissa exploring the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. We only had a short layover in Istanbul, so this was a great way to see these sights. Melissa was very knowledgeable and she did a very good job setting the pace for our small group during the excursion.
