Travel to the Sultanahmet Tram Station. From the tram station walk down the hill on the right side of the road toward to the little mosque Firuz ağa . Take the first right onto the Hippodrome ( square ). You will see the green domed fountain in front of you.

Excellent tour. Lots of history. Burak was very good and made it interesting. And he suggested a place for lunch and other stops to see. I enjoyed a private tour much more than a group.

This tour alone was worth the entire cost of my trip! It was clear our tour guide, Salih, had an amazing depth of understanding about the culture and history of this magnificent city. He gave a highly detailed narrative about the sites and the antiquities contained within. He was personable and engaging, flexible and informative and I was sad that I hadn’t taken advantage of his other tours during my stay. If you’re looking for that ‘next level’ experience, you must book with Salih, even if you’re in town only a few hours!

Company should have provided microphone and hearing devices so travelers can clearly hear the guide. Otherwise, Omer was a nice gentleman and very knowledgeable.

Omer was an amazing guide, very friendly and well informed providing great history and stories. The group is nice and small (less than 8), we were able to skip all the lines, and covered 4 of the most amazing sites in one tour. Even got some guidance on how to navigate the Bazaar and a great restaurant recommendation.

Salih was outstanding, very informative and accommodating to guests needs. Strongly recommend this walking tour which includes entrance into the sights visited. Also includes stop for tea and since it was Sunday and Grand Bazarr was closed, we took tram to spice Bazarr.

We wanted a tour that helped navigate the must see sights in a relatively short amount of time, and this fit the bill perfectly. Omer was an incredible guide and truly made the experience great. He organized things around when lines were likely to be the shortest and this allowed us great experiences at each location. There are so many things we learned that we would not have otherwise. He was also extremely communicative via WhatsApp leading up to the tour and on the day of. Logistically he was also very accommodating with bathroom breaks and water breaks (it was hot!) making it very easy for my family member with limited mobility. 100/10, would absolutely recommend.

The sites themselves are iconic and need no commentary from me, so I'll instead talk about our guide. The first signal that made us realize our guide Omer knew what he was doing was when quickly he switched the order of things. We started with the site that was apparently unusually uncrowded, allowing us to make our wait times remarkably quick all day. Then within the sites, Omer was not only a font of information but he pointed out the best places to pose for pictures. Everyone must visit these places on their first trip to Istanbul, but Omer offered insight and safe guidance which made it truly special.
One side note for summer visitors, though. It was a 90 degree day and there is no respite from the heat in either mosque. When you consider the requirements of long pants for men and head scarves for women, it can get quite uncomfortable. Of course, this is not the tour company's fault so there's no mark against them. It's just an fyi to future summer travelers.

Pinar was a very friendly and knowledgeable guide. We got to know the history of Hagia Sophia, Blue mosque and Basilica cistern which wouldn’t have been possible without a knowledgeable guide. We were a small group of 4 with a baby in a pram. Pinar was patient and helpful throughout the tour

A fantastic tour that really got into the history and background of Istanbul. We spent a good amount of time at each place and didn't feel rushed or herded like some of these tours can be. Our guide spoke perfect English and had such detailed knowledge of the history of the area and culture, and was good at relating it to current affairs and the modern day. The mosques were stunning and we learnt so much about every detail in each of them, and our guide was extremely knowledgeable and answered all our questions easily. Our guide gave us further recommendations of where to go in the area after the tour and they turned out to be great ideas/advice. It is fairly long so make sure you get some water along the way and have a snack at the break time. This was a very fairly priced tour, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone in Istanbul - it gave us an excellent introduction to the city (both historically/culturally and geographically) which made the rest of our stay there much easier to navigate and appreciate.

A terrific 5-6 hour tour with a very knowledgeable guide. This hits many of the highlights for a first-time visitor to Istanbul and is a delight. Guide in Türkiye are university-trained and very knowledgeable. You will get much more from the experience with if you use a guide rather than trying to do it on your own with a guidebook.
