Limited time tour of Istanbul
We booked a day tour of Istanbul and our guide was the lovely Sude. We found her very knowledgeable on the history and backstory of the main historical sites and she was able to answer all our questions with authority . Sude is a credited guide and we can highly recommend her for your tour.
But as well as benefiting from her knowledge we also found her excellent company and she gave us good insights into day to day living in Istanbul and also spoke about her own family.
Overall a very good experience and we can highly recommend especially to anyone short of time in the city like we were .

Loved Musa
I was so thankful I booked a private tour. It made a huge difference having our knowledgeable personal guide to teach us everything and answer questions we have. He also had skip the line tickets to purchase and helped us tailor our day to see the sites we wanted. Our guide, Miss, was so smart and kind. He was amazing!!!

Great time
We love this tour because it gives you an idea of traditional food and drink. For me personally it’s not an unusual experience because I make the same food every day but it’s so good to see and feel the difference .Zeynep our tour guide was very nice person and group was very friendly

Well organised with excellent, informative guide.
This one full day trip to the Gallipoli peninsula is very comfortable and we were back in Istanbul by 9:30. Mercedes Sprinter 15 seater vans were very comfortable The lunch was basic and tasty. The organisation and coordination of the various trips by CrowdedHouseTours was brilliant. The guide was very good and knew his stuff.

Extremely knowledgeable guide
The half day tour was just enough for us. Baris our guide was extremely knowledgeable the tour did run over time and sadly we had to leave due to other commitments. There was great communication beforehand about the extra costs and dress code for ladies at the mosque and meeting place.

Istanbul Come Alive
Our tour was absolutely fantastic and one of the highlights of our trip. We learned so much about the city’s rich history, culture, and the significance behind many of its architectural masterpieces. The itinerary was excellent — we visited the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace Museum, the Grand Bazaar, and the Spice Market, all while getting detailed historical context that really brought each place to life.
Our guide, Tayfun, was exceptional. His knowledge, experience, and flexibility made the tour feel very personalized. He gave great recommendations throughout the day and allowed us to tailor the pace and timing to our interests. One example was the Hagia Sophia Mosque, which was under renovation during our visit. Based on Tayfun’s advice that much of the interior was obstructed, we chose to skip going inside and spend more time enjoying other sites — definitely the right call.
This tour is perfect for anyone who wants an immersive overview of the city’s history, landmarks, and cultural evolution. Be prepared for a fair amount of walking, though it was completely manageable and worth it for everything we experienced. If you enjoy fascinating history, stunning architecture, vibrant markets, and don’t mind getting your steps in, this is absolutely the tour to book.

Excellent!
Cappadocia all inclusive tour with Barkish was absolutely excellent. From start to finish, he was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating historical details and insights that really brought the underground city to life. His explanations were clear, engaging, and tailored to our interests, making the experience both educational and enjoyable.
Barkish was also very attentive and thoughtful, always making sure everyone in the group was comfortable and able to keep up. He answered every question with patience and enthusiasm, and his passion for the history and culture of Cappadocia truly stood out.
Exploring the underground city can be overwhelming, but with Barkish as our guide, it felt organized, safe, and unforgettable. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cappadocia—it was one of the highlights of our trip!”

Great private tour
This was a great tour, perfect for our one day in Istanbul. Our guide Didem was so nice and professional. She was extremely knowledgeable about the sites, and kept us moving at a pace that allowed us just the right amount of time in each location. It was definitely worthwhile being met at our hotel in our first day in Istanbul, and having a private guide made it so much easier to navigate the attractions and stay in communication. We would definitely have booked the second day option if we had more time.

A delightful informative experience!
Ali was an AMAZING guide. We never felt rushed and he tailored the tour based on what we were most interested in. He is a wealth of information and a joy to be around. We learned so much about the country of Turkey in general, in addition to the sites we visited. I highly recommend him and this tour.

A must Do!
Out your guide was Songül. She was absolutely amazing really took us on a very detail experience of Istanbul, Turkey, its story and highlights. Being a private tour absolutely make the difference here plus the fact that Songul not only took us to the architectural highlights but also to the most amazing local food experiences around the area. 10/10

A Fabulous Tour of Fener, Balat and other Areas off the beaten Track
This was a fabulous tour of some of the less-travelled areas of Istanbul (Fener and Balat) as well as the spice market and portions of the Grand Bazaar. We were the only people on the tour so our guide, Mohammed was able to make a few modifications to accommodate my wife who uses a car. He was very knowledgeable about the history of this area of the city, the peoples who once lived there and the architecture. The tour also included the Greek Orthodox Cathedral, the spice market and areas around the Grand Bazaar. I would highly recommend this tour
