We loved our trip to Ninh Binh. Starting early is highly recommended as we got ahead of the main tourist crowds. The 500 step climb at the mountain is challenging in the heat but worth it for the views. The tour was well planned and we loved our guide who was Tuna. He was great with everyone and really helped us all every step of the way. A small group tour is really worthwhile I think for somewhere like Ninh Binh. The jeeps are very cool as well and we loved the whole day. I highly recommend this tour.

Very nice experience, especially when it is sweltering hot outside. The potters are very attentive. Attention, you must come back a few days later to pick up the pottery, fired and glazed by the potters after the session (1 piece per person is included in the price)

We booked a private sedan transfer from Noi Bai International Airport to our hotel, and the experience was very smooth. Mr. Tho was punctual and waiting for us on arrival, which made everything easy after a long flight. He was friendly, helpful, and handled everything professionally. The car was clean and comfortable, and the drive into Hanoi was relaxed and efficient. Communication was clear throughout, which gave us extra peace of mind. Overall, a reliable and hassle-free transfer service—definitely a great option when arriving in Hanoi.

Before my trip, company reached out to confirmed my booking and provided me with contact number on day of arrival. On the day of, driver reached out to me promptly just before I landed in Hanoi. He provided me with directions on where to go once I’m cleared immigration and exit the airport with luggage. Pickup was quick and driver got me to my hotel in Old Quarter with no issue. He was helpful and courteous.

The program was as follows: Pick up in Hanoi, check in on the ship (Victory Star), boat trip to the “Sung Sot cave” and “titop island”, overnight stay on the ship, visit “Hang Luon” (kayaking or bamboo boat), boat trip to the port, transfer by ferry to Cat Ba, visit National Park Cat Ba, visit “Trung Trang cave”, visit “Hang Quan Y”, check-in hotel “May Legend Cat Ba”, free time, overnight stay, check-out and transfer to Ninh Binh (we requested this way, Standard would be back to Hanoi). The food on the ship was excellent. However, it is very heavy on fish and seafood. Since we do not like this, we have announced this in advance and received the dishes accordingly with meat. Drinks were not included. The cabin was reasonably spacious and the bathroom was large and well equipped. A bottle of water was provided, this could be refilled free of charge. The staff was friendly and helpful. Diw excursions were entertaining and good, however it had a great many other tourists. The second night hotel on Cat Ba “The May Legend” was also great. The room was very well equipped and offered a beautiful view of the sea. The breakfast buffet was rich. The hotel complex had two pools (open until max. 8pm), spa and direct access to the beach. The bathing was very pleasant in the beautiful bay. All in all, the tour can be highly recommended! Support for Tripadvisor via whatsapp also worked smoothly.

I booked this transport from the airport to the Old Quarter. Our driver met us right outside of the main door with a sign. Everything was easy smooth sailing! We did not experience any issues. I forgot the driver’s name, but the vehicle had custom interior and was very comfortable.
