This tour was great!!! You get to see and do a ton (biking, caves, boat, etc) and explore beautiful Ninh Binh. Our tour guide, Hai Dang, was excellent and funny. The lunch was also so good and way beyond my expectations - tons of veggie dishes as well as meat, fruit, and a pho station! The bus was clean and luxurious. Everything was well organized and professional. One thing I wanted to mention because I felt bad for the tour guide - there was this French family on our tour that complained about everything. Acted very entitled and delayed the group on several occasions. On the bike ride, the entire group waited for them continuously (seems like they went back to the starting point to grab something without telling anyone) and there was no apology or anything from any of the family members as they rode up. Wild. And they spoke English so it wasn’t a communication thing. At the end, they asked to be dropped off at the tour “office” after we had already pulled up to their hotel. Pretty obnoxious. The tour guide dealt with them very professionally and as best as he could.

Excellent trip. Easy booking, and great communication from the team before the trip. Our guide Danny messaged us the night before to confirm pick up time and answered any questions I had, he was very knowledgeable about the places we were visiting and he spoke excellent English. Throughout the trip he kept checking with us to ensure we were happy. We decided to choose the vespa option, having a 10 year old who had never been on a vespa before I was slightly nervous given the busy roads we had been used to in other parts of Vietnam, I had no need to worry, the vespa drivers were extremely safe, ensuring our family stayed together on the 3 seperate bikes so I could still see my daughter at all times, they drove smoothly allowing us to take in the beautiful scenery without any worry. We all loved the trip and would definitely recommend to anyone thinking about doing it. Thank you Hanoi backstreet tours and Thank you Danny for a memorable tour!

Very fun experience for the whole family. The catamaran ride was very smooth. Staff and food are excellent. The journey and activities were well planned such that the day excursion went by in a jiffy. Loved the views, water activities, and the facilities (clean and elegant).
