This was one of the highlights of our trip. Loading was very easy. The crew were courteous and polite. The views were amazing! Live music was a bonus. Highly recommend this tour!

There is music and drinks and pretty sites and loud bird. Sometimes you learn things. Very good stuff
As we’re approaching 80, with a couple of joint replacements and arthritis, this was a nice rest amidst the continuous walking up and down the hills of Halifax; just two hours on the water with live background music. The weather cleared, so we had a cloudy, but pleasant sail. Best advice we can offer is to pay attention to the basic rule: comfortable shoes, and take a small daypack so you have water, and are able to layer, layer, and layer if you need it. The weather is unpredictable.
What a great experience! I went with my 18 year old son who has autism. He checked off the tasks with the help of the crew and they were so kind and patient. He is so proud of his certificate!
The Staff were great and the music was awesome! The high negatives were being held up for over 15 minutes for a tour group that booked last minute and was running late. Upon arrival, a group of about 35-40 elderly people ambled their way onto the boat. They proceeded to cram themselves in and we became like sardines (no pun intended). I would not go back, and I would not reccomend the ride based on these two facts alone.
Great trip and a very pleasant atmosphere on boa.rd the ship. Really good couple of hours, the weather was great and that really helped also.
Just a nice ride with good music almost no narration at all. Just a lot of very expensive homes to see along the way and the sails were only up for a few minutes.
Sails not used for propulsion and no discussion of tall sailing ships or their history (tall masted sailing ships).
Excellent experience. The weather was not all that great. But overall a great team who manned the boat so to speak.
The weather did not affect the experience. Cold and rainy but we still enjoyed our time. The live music, drinks snacks and views were terrific
I would recommend this only because of the beauty of Halifax and the nice musician. However, what is missing is a voice from the sailing team about historical information in terms of what we are looking at. It’s not so important to see large homes. Halifax has more history than that… please change the way you manage the tour. It was fun at the end to enjoy singing together with the musician… but this is NOT the point of the cruise…
Great experience and entertainment was engaging. Our first time and would definitely do this again!!
It was a very nice trip, It is like a meditation 🙂 just take a light jacket with you in case there is a wind
Lots of seating, bar and clean bathrooms, windy on the water so bring a light coat and a hair tie! Great time to take photos of Halifax. Live entertainment was talented and funny but the sail lacked a full time tour guide. A few main features were pointed out during the sail but nothing in-depth.
The live musician was great! Hoisting the rigging was extremely hard! Only a few people could do it. (Had to be an adult Or adult with a child.). The crew were very helpful with the children with tying knots and finding things in the scavenger hunt. We were allowed to bring snacks and beverages, although they offer the same for purchase.
We had a great time.
Just bring your windbreaker and go ! Music was good and Gary was great at entertaining us . Loved his voice .

Great experience, especially if you have kids. They do a scavenger hunt and then they get a honorary crew member certificate. The live music was really good too.

We had great weather and it is a great way to see the city from a sea view. We also were able to sail with the sails up and that was beautiful. Highly recommend.
We enjoyed the trip. The views are wonderful and the Captain and Crew experienced. We encountered a squall when they were ready to put up the sails. The Captain delayed for after reasons, but managed to get it done.
So much fun!! The boat ride and live music was so much fun! Great value and very talented musician! 👏

No matter the season bring a sweater or jacket. It is a ton of fun in the tall ship - great service, great entertainment and the views were superb. We were lucky enough to see the Queen Mary 2 in port.

Very good sailing cruise. Sceneries while the boat is sailing is wonderful. The live musician makes it more exciting while having some drinks!

I think that they should give the history of the ship before anything else. It's an incredible history and she is such a lovely ship she deserves to be known for her life story. Secondly, please turn down the volume of the entertainment. The sound quality was awful and because of that it was very difficult to talk to my partner or the other people around me. And there was no interaction from the staff with the passengers to tell us anything except for A bit about George's island. We saw a South Korean car carrier ship. Nobody said anything about it I had to look it up on Google. We saw the pilots that helped bring the ships into the harbor, nothing was said about that either. How about the history of the Halifax Harbour and how they used to have submarine nets underwater there for World War II, not a word was sad about the Halifax explosion. Like people come from around the world and they did not learn a damn thing except for George's Island on that whole trip. There are marvellous interesting things out there and just pointing out the fact that there are millionaires houses in the channel I'm sorry but who cares about that? Literally nobody cares about some guy's big bank account. But most of us do care about the history and I had to tell people around me the history of the ship. It would've been nice to have the interesting things that we were seeing around us be pointed out and talked about. Other than the too loud music and the lack of interaction I'd say it was good and I would recommend it because the ship herself is so lovely.

Really nice. The ship was magnificent. Nice live music throughout. Hardly any chatter—we could enjoy the water, sun, sail. Best of all: staff didn’t demand a tip at the end!!!!
