Aristotle taught at the Lyceum in Athens, developing ideas on ethics and the well-lived life—eudaimonia—that still underpin moral philosophy. This workshop takes those ideas back to where they started, beginning in Rizari Park with a facilitator before walking to the Lyceum ruins. There, you discuss Aristotle's moral theory and work through a virtue-choice game.

Your storyteller guide leads your group of adults—and teens, with parental consent—through the central city, in the shadow of the Acropolis, and shares some truly frightful tales.

Plato's ideas are easier to grapple with through discussion, and few places suit that better than the site where he taught. This small-group workshop takes you to Plato's Academy in Athens, starting at the Digital Museum before walking through the park to the Gymnasium ruins. With a facilitator, you work through the Allegory of the Cave using the Socratic method, with an optional extra hour on Aristotle.

Most Athens tours walk you past the ruins of its ancient democracy without letting you take part in how it worked. This small-group workshop does the opposite, heading to the Pnyx—the hill where the Athenian Assembly once met—to recreate the debating and voting of classical Athens through dialogues, role-play, and team games. A facilitator with a background in Classical Studies leads the session, covering both the strengths and the flaws of the system.

The hours I go to the atelier are for me a source of energy and relaxation, and that’s what I’m looking for those who visit my atelier. The workshop is located 16 kilometres from Heraklion ( acces only with car ), in a unique location in the nature, with a spectacular view of Cretan mountains. The area around offers many opportunities for walking and visiting the nearby villages.
