Itinerary

Depart from your Geneva hotel in a private luxury vehicle and admire gorgeous views of the Swiss countryside as you travel across the Switzerland-France border to Chamonix, a charming village located at the foot of Mont Blanc. Gaze at the towering, snow-capped spire of Western Europe’s tallest mountain as you approach and relish the lack of crowds at the 15,780-foot (4,800-meter) peak in the early morning.

Climb into a cable car and ascend to the summit of Aiguille du Midi on the world’s highest vertical ascent cable car. Gasp as you soar to a height of 12,605 feet (3,842 meters) in 20 minutes and then absorb breathtaking views of the Alpine panorama as you reach the summit. Capture photographs of the Swiss, Italian and French Alps and revitalize with a steaming hot chocolate at the terrace café if you wish (own expense).

Climb aboard the Montenvers Railway for a scenic train ride through the mountains to Montenvers, an ideal vantage point from which to admire Mer de Glace. Gaze at the icy enchantment of the enormous glacier surrounded by mountain summits and then return to your private vehicle for the relaxing journey back to your Geneva hotel.

If you use this Multipass for a single activity, it will be considered by the Compagnie du Mont-Blanc as used and cannot be refunded if the other activities are closed. The Mont Blanc company offers alternative activities but does not authorize refunds of the multipass.

Tom and the driver were great! They were prompt and friendly. Tom has great knowledge of the area and the countries! He was very friendly and really enjoys his work! We rode several gondolas to the top of Mont Blanc, and then walked to a train station and rode the train to a building where some went into the ice cave. Afterwards, our family walked around the small town of Chamonix for lunch and shopping for about 90 minutes and then were driven back to Geneva. There is quite a bit of time outside and in non-warmed areas such as the gondolas and buildings. We went in April when there was some light rain that day and also snow on the ground. Additional layers and shoes with slight traction may be needed depending on the conditions when you visit. There are also quite a few steps to reach the top of the buildings so something else to keep in mind. Tom was good to adjust the pace to keep our group together which was appreciated! Overall, a wonderful time and definitely glad we booked this tour!

Hector was our tour guide and Tom our driver and they’re both amazing. Since we’re from Mexico we asked for the guide to speak Spanish. We had an incredible time, we had an early start and we could appreciate everything without crowds. Hector took us to an amazing restaurant and overall the tour was once in a lifetime experience. Great experience with Mont-Blanc

Breathtaking view of Mount Blanc although it is as crowded. We were told the wait to take pictures from the glass window would be an hour so we skipped it. Ice cave was a unique experience but the climbing to and back was strenuous. Walking through the town was wonderful and we had a nice meal with wine at a pizzeria. It was crowded though and the rain made it a bit uncomfortable. Our tour guide Zed provided valuable information. For a private tour for 2 people we felt a mini bus was excessive. Overall it was a great experience!

Incredible tour. We had an amazing day seeing Mont Blanc and then walking down the steps to the glacier. The area is so beautiful and really captured the European old world charm. The hand gliders flying overhead and the incredibly rugged back drop of Mont Blanc made this experience unforgettable. A must do! My family talks about the mountain, tour, food and overall experience.

I took a private tour, they still put us in a bus with minimal views with the tiny side windows. The driver, who is not really a tour guide, was nice and helpful, but was quite throughout the drive. I thought we were supposed to have a professional guide. At least at the end of the day, the "train" ride was unpleasant and the que was more than an hour long. Not cool! The ice cave was beautiful, but take care to take your time and enjoy it. The driver will not tell you how brief it could be and other obnoxious and ignorant visitors/tourists will hurry you up Mont blanc is magnificent depending on how cloudy it gets....weather and visibility can change several times an hour.

I was in Geneva solo and had a free day. I decided to take a private tour of Mont Blanc and Chamonix. It was the most amazing experience I have ever had (and probably will ever have). My guide Christos was simply phenomenal. He lives in Chamonix and knows everything. It was a completely different experience having someone who knew what we should tackle and when - to avoid crowds - how we should tackle the summit of ADM, and where to take the best photos. Christos also seemed to know everyone who worked at the places we stopped, which makes sense since he lives there. You will not be able to breathe - and not so much because of the altitude. The cable car with the highest vertical ascension to 12, 604 ft, the second stage cable car with no support pillar that rises 5, 000 vertical feet, and the ADM summit platform will take your breath away. You will want to take it all in, enjoy every second, and not be distracted by logistics or crowds. The only way I could do that is with an expert guide, who also happens to climbs the mountains he is showing you. A guide is worth it so you can just be astonished and amazed at where you are, and yes, not worry that it has all taken your breath away. This is the only way I would want to do Chamonix Mont Blanc. If I were ever to come back again, I would book this tour and ask for Christos!
