What are people saying about Finland

An outstanding introduction to Helsinki and Suomenlinna
This was the perfect tour for my first visit to Helsinki. It combined the city’s most important landmarks with a visit to Suomenlinna, one of Finland’s most significant historical sites and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Our guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about Finnish history and culture. Throughout the tour, we learned about Helsinki’s unique blend of Scandinavian and Russian influences, visited many of the city’s iconic landmarks, and gained a much deeper appreciation for Finland’s history and way of life.
The highlight for me was the ferry ride to Suomenlinna Sea Fortress. Built in the 18th century across a group of islands, the fortress offers spectacular coastal scenery while telling the story of Finland’s Swedish and Russian past. Walking through its historic fortifications, tunnels, churches, and peaceful pathways felt like stepping back through centuries of Nordic history.
The tour was well organized, transportation was seamless, and the pace struck a great balance between guided commentary and free time to explore, take photographs, and simply enjoy the surroundings.
I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Helsinki for the first time. It provides an excellent overview of the city while including one of Finland’s most iconic attractions, making it an outstanding value and one of the highlights of my trip.

Come with curiosity and...
Come with curiosity and an appetite! You will spend a few hours walking around the city and learning about Helsinki's history. Then you will visit a market and try various Finnish delicacies including salmon, caviar, and cinnamon buns. You will not leave hungry!

A proper good Tour
It’s good to see this beautiful city through the eyes of a proud local who really knows the place. The interaction between a small group of people is indispensable. You get a true sense and feeling for the place. I had one of the best experiences (it just happened to be my birthday too) thanks to Jens.

As good as it gets
We had an absolutely amazing tour with Jonna today. She took us all around Helsinki and made the entire experience unforgettable. She is incredibly knowledgeable, highly professional, and shares so much fascinating information in such an engaging and interesting way. What truly makes her special is the incredible enthusiasm and energy she brings it’s contagious and unlike anything we’ve experienced before. We highly, highly recommend this tour and feel very lucky to have had Jonna as our guide.

Best of Helsinki
The tour included quite a bit of sightseeing from the comfort of our sprinter van. The driver was very safe and efficient, and our guide, Tanya, was awesome. She provided so many interesting facts and a lot of fun commentary. She pointed out a lot of key things along the ride and also lead us on several walking portions of the tour. She did a great job explaining Finland history, as well insights on the current state for the country.

Highly Recommend
It was really nice. The guide knew not only of the beautiful places but also a lot about the plants and trees. He spoke English well, was friendly, and served us yummy homemade soup made with mushrooms he foraged himself! It helped that the weather was absolutely perfect in term of temperature and sunshine!

Fantastic and informative day
Terrific tour for our three-generation trip to Finland! Darius picked us up promptly and his van was roomy (seats 6 passengers comfortably plus room in the trunk for bags). He has a microphone and speaker to make it easy for people in the back to hear him clearly – nice touch, especially for those hard of hearing! The 40-minute trip to Porvoo included his rich history of Finland which provides context for the current Finnish culture, food, religion, and more. This was our third tour, and we learned a lot that was not covered in other tours! Porvoo itself is lovely – a beautiful and typical Finnish town with a rich history. Darius moved comfortably at our pace – 3 generations means we can be very slow on uphills (and there are a few hills here!) – and stops included a coffeehouse with the top-rated Porvoo cake (we also stopped at a second shop for gluten-free goodies), the beautiful and typical church, the standard views of Porvoo, a chocolate/candy shop and more. Highly recommend this tour! Wear good walking shoes (all cobblestones!) and layers for the Finnish weather!

Excellent Intro to Helsinki
Wonderful quick tour of the city! Fabio is a friendly and knowledgable guide and made sure we were staying warm while keeping a good pace! Really enjoyed my experience and would recommend to others. My tour group had a variety of travellers who were great, which made it fun as a solo traveller.

Family with young children enjoyed it
Dress up very warm..snow trousers etc. The Artic wear they supply can fit over your own stuff. Dress children very warm. In January at -30 their feet were freezing. A blanket is supplied and sleeping bags for the children but feet do freeze. The family were lovely and friendly, great hosts- a lovely talk in the warmth afterwards and very informative. Toilets, drink and cake supplied afterwards..

A Magical Experience to remember forever
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Meeting Santa Claus and experiencing the Reindeer Ride & Husky Greet was absolutely magical! From the moment we arrived, everything was beautifully organized, festive, and full of Christmas spirit.
Santa himself was incredibly warm, kind, and authentic — it felt like stepping right into a storybook. The reindeer ride was peaceful and enchanting through the snowy landscape, and the huskies were so friendly and full of energy. It was truly special being able to interact with them up close.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and they made sure everyone — especially the children — had a wonderful time.
Highly recommend this to anyone visiting Lapland. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience that captures the true magic of the holiday season!

Highly recommend!
What a fantastic way to see the City. We are so glad we chose this over a bus tour. Juho was our driver and was so knowledgeable and fun to talk with. It was a cool day and we had blankets and the sides zippered down to keep us warm. Juho would open the sides up for me when I wanted to take pictures. We had headsets so hearing Juho wasn't an issue at all. Don't hesitate to book this tour, it was fantastic!!

Fun and thorough
The guide took us on a wide array of locations around central Helsinki. The tour is fun, informative, and not difficult. It is interesting to see the city from the perspective of a non-native local resident (the guide is an American student) - it may even be more valuable for a tourist than getting the perspective of a local guide.
The guide has a good sense of humor which is apparent throughout the tour and a unique style.
Well, actually, he could have used the word "actually" a bit less, it's kind of distracting, but not so much that it interferes with the experience. Anyway, highly recommended.
