Cambridge is known for its famous boat race, and with this rowing experience, you can ride a coxed “eight boat”—just like the ones used by the Cambridge and Oxford University rowing teams. No need to worry if it’s your first time—this experience is ideal for beginners, and a full introduction and technical practice session are provided at the City of Cambridge Rowing Club before setting out on the water.

Kick off your rowing adventure at the City of Cambridge Rowing Club, where you'll get a solid introduction to the sport. After a 30-minute session on rowing machines focusing on timing and technique, it's time to hit the water. In a stable 'double' boat, you'll practice your newly learned strokes on the beautiful River Cam. With a skilled instructor by your side, two participants will board the boat for an exhilarating hour of rowing, complete with a memorable photo opportunity. Perfect for beginners and those looking to refine their skills in a stunning setting.

A very extensive and locally sourced ploughman's is served in the second half of the trip with lots of delicious homemade additions. Sail along Lake Windermere and choose to get involved and learn how to drive the boat, or simply sit back, relax, and enjoy the spectacular scenery along the way.

Unique tailored skippered sailing trips or river trips for two persons sailing trips or for half day river trips up to 3 persons plus skipper. Visit small Cornish harbours, a good chance of seeing dolphins and seals up close, sail along the Cornish coast seeing caves and cliffs or visit hideaway places up the river Fal. Your choice on the day subject to weather and tides. Hands on experience or let your skipper do all the work. Shebeca is a small but very capable yacht and your skipper has sailed her round Britain, Ireland and into Biscay, often single handed. No experience required. You will be collected from your hotel if required and a traditional Cornish pastie lunch plus tea, coffee, water will be provided for full day tours. Half day river tours, bottled water only is provided but you are welcome to bring your own snacks. Prices are for the yacht and skipper, not per person.

Step aboard your comfortable cruise boat at Westminster Pier and listen to the live commentary as you pass sights such as Shakespeare’s Globe, Tower Bridge, and the Tower of London. Drink in the views from the open or indoor deck, and at Greenwich, step ashore to visit attractions (own expense) such as the Cutty Sark or National Maritime Museum.
