A great experience in stunning surroundings. Ian was very calm and informative, putting us both at our ease from the outset. Thoroughly enjoyed the sailing session, it was the highlight of our mini break and would definitely recommend it.

Fantastic experience skippering the boat, was lucky with weather day before which was torrential rain, Would thoroughly recommend this to all. Ian was very knowledgeable and gave us plenty information on the lake and surrounding areas. We would definitely do this again on our next visit.

We had an amazing time on the Private Sailing Experience at Lake Windermere. Our instructor, Alan, was very friendly and knowledgeable. Our child learned a lot about sailing and had a fantastic experience. We thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to returning. Thanks, Alan!

We had a great trip despite the extremely wet weather. My son steered, my daughter tacked and my husband & I went along for the ride. Richard was super friendly and really keen to get my 17 & 19 year old kids involved as much as possible. Even though we were soaked through we all enjoyed the experience

Parking for our car was at the hotel, it was free and easy to find. Once there, we walked over to the jetty - and we were on the water in no time. We have 2 teenagers and they both had a good time and spoke about for the rest of the day. We all found it a very relaxing and pleasant experience with a wonderful host/skipper. Thank you very much!

Gr8 adventure, with Ian our skipper who was amazing. A peaceful and tranquil way of getting to see the lake in all its glory. Would highly recommend. Ian even let me loose with the controls under supervision. Relaxed and comfortable, greatly enjoyed

Ian was an engaging and calm guide, and made our family comfortable from the start. His mix of history and humor made it an enjoyable experience. Allowing us to take turns steering the boat during the ride allowed for lots of memories. The views were incredible and we are so glad we set sail!

Lovely sailing experience on lake Windermere. We had no prior experience and were introduced to the basics as we sailed around the lake. Ian is very knowledgable of both sailing and the area and it was a fantastic couple of hours getting to know him and how to sail. Would highly recommend.

Ian is a skillful skipper and delightful companion. From the moment my teenage son, his godmother and I climbed aboard, we felt comfortable and at ease. The wind was brisk, the sailing exciting, and we chatted and laughed with Ian like old friends. My son is a sailor and Ian let him help. It was great fun and the scenery was spectacular. We had a nice, long sail. Worth every penny. A highlight of our trip to the Lakes!
