Great to have the opportunity to learn some basic sailing skills whilst having exclusive use - lovely couple of hours and free parking available at the hotel, we stopped after for a coffee - lovely views from the garden

Ian is great, knowledgeable and nice. I went with my mom to enjoy a private sailing ant the beautiful lake and the experience as a whole was wonderful. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience skippering the boat, was lucky with weather day before which was torrential rain, Would thoroughly recommend this to all. Ian was very knowledgeable and gave us plenty information on the lake and surrounding areas. We would definitely do this again on our next visit.

Relaxed and very enjoyable time on Windermere trying to ressurect our sailing skills! Ian was very patient! He very kindly advised and rearranged our trip time to coincide with the best weather. Thoroughly recommend.
We had a great trip despite the extremely wet weather. My son steered, my daughter tacked and my husband & I went along for the ride. Richard was super friendly and really keen to get my 17 & 19 year old kids involved as much as possible. Even though we were soaked through we all enjoyed the experience
Parking for our car was at the hotel, it was free and easy to find. Once there, we walked over to the jetty - and we were on the water in no time. We have 2 teenagers and they both had a good time and spoke about for the rest of the day. We all found it a very relaxing and pleasant experience with a wonderful host/skipper. Thank you very much!

Ian was an engaging and calm guide, and made our family comfortable from the start. His mix of history and humor made it an enjoyable experience. Allowing us to take turns steering the boat during the ride allowed for lots of memories. The views were incredible and we are so glad we set sail!

Lovely sailing experience on lake Windermere. We had no prior experience and were introduced to the basics as we sailed around the lake. Ian is very knowledgable of both sailing and the area and it was a fantastic couple of hours getting to know him and how to sail. Would highly recommend.
