Tina and her colleague were absolutely wonderful! They were professional, knowledgeable, and made our tour such an enjoyable experience. Their communication was excellent from start to finish, and they shared so much insight about Montenegro that we never would have learned on our own. We truly appreciated their friendliness, attention to detail, and passion for what they do. Highly recommend!

Valentina and the driver were great. We left the old town about 6:30h on a Monday and fortunately we didn’t have to wait any time in the border. Everything went well.

    Great tour well recommended

Fabulous tour Valentina our tour guide was very knowledgeable and made the trip great fun. Highly recommended tour beautiful sites visited thank you

    Worth the trip !

    Lori_B, Sep 2026
Our tour guide Tina was phenomenal. Very available to her guests at all times and very accommodating! Our van/bus was another story. It was over 90 F out and the AC barely worked. When the AC was on, the bus would stall out. We worried about making it back to Dubrovnik. Myself and the 3 family members I traveled with are all seniors and it was very difficult and dangerous being in such a hot bus. The actual trip itself was worth the time and money. It was great to visit Perast and Kotor and I’m glad we made the time to do so while in Croatia.

Day trip to Montenegro and Kotor

Tina our guide was very informative. She communicated well with me via WhatsApp. The pick up location was convenient and close to our hotel. She was professional and kind.

Beautiful Montenegro ruined by a bad company and a worse tour guide

    Aditya_B, Sep 2026
Stay away from this!! Very bad experience from the get go. Promised hotel pick up then changed the day before, We were traveling with our 2 jet lagged toddlers- we were 3 minutes late in arriving and the tour guide Tina was rude and insulting to us in front of the entire group. That was just the beginning.. The entire day felt like a crazy rush- no time carved out for breakfast. We were up at 5 am for the tour and were starving till noon before a panned break out for eating, Our tour guide if you can call her that did not give us any more information about places other than generic statements like “this is the best place in Montenegro” etc.. not even exaggerating! Other tour guides were going over history etc in detail. Time in Kotor could have been much better spent- we were not told about the beautiful beach which was right in front of the old town. - only found out as we were leaving. No guidance in terms of where to eat, what other things to do etc. This is not a tour- it’s just a shuttle service between Dubrovnik and Kotor. You are better off getting a private car/ mini van for a couple of hundred Euros more. If you are traveling with family or elderly or are one to look for a leisurely time.. avoid this one. It’s more a shuttle service trying to check boxes. For the rude tour guide Tina alone, I would give negative or zero stars if I could!

Nice was to spend a leisurely day

    Barry_M, Sep 2026
This is a very new tour. Picked up and dropped off very close to our townhouse. All was on time. Our tour guide was bubbly and welcoming. The trip was timed very well with a short stop in Perast and a convenient time for a short tour of Old Town Kotor( by a very good local guide). Then back to Dubrovnik.

    Beautiful experience

    Elke_D, Sep 2026
We loved the lady of the rocks. Perast is a cute cosy village. Kotor was a beautiful town. We enjoyed staying there despite the hot weather. Little narrow lovely streets with little shops. Nice buildings with Byzantin and Venetian influences. Valentina our guide for today did a good job and was funny. We were lucky to cross the border because we didn’t experience long waiting moments. Overall a perfect day to repeat.

    Nice tour

    Mary_R, Sep 2026
It was a fun day with several stops. Exploring Kotor city was fun and visiting the city of Perast was cool and picturesque. The host on the. Us was very nice and made it enjoyable. .

    Super Fast Border Crossing!

    Heather_F, Sep 2026
We had a great day trip to Montenegro! Valentina was our guide and she was extremely friendly, helpful, and made the entire day very enjoyable. Everything was well organized, and we were especially impressed with how quickly we got through the border crossings. Our driver even adjusted the route on the way home to help us avoid delays and get back faster, which we really appreciated. The bus was comfortable, clean, and looked very new. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable experience, and we would definitely recommend this tour!

    Fun and Informative.

    Kirsten_R, Aug 2026
Our guide was fun , informative and had a great sense of humour. It was paced well and had solidv information about GoT filming locations with an "inside scoop" persoective. The fort has stupendous viewpoints!

Great way to see 2 towns and a new country!

    Wendy_D, Aug 2026
This was a nice trip and a good way to see two towns in Montenegro and the beautiful coastline along the way. The early start was smart in order to beat the crowds. I do think it would be better to add €13 to the cost of the trip instead of worrying about cash on the bus from each person. Tina was a great tour guide - very friendly and helpful and nice! - and our driver was amazing.

    Great Day!

    John_B, Aug 2026
So great to see Montenegro at a glance. We are very excited to go back and stay for a week but this was a good mini dose to see the beauty!

    Overall the trip was...

    Lori_Z, Aug 2026
Overall the trip was great. The problem was that the way the advertisement for the trip was misleading. I thought this was going to be an all day boat ride. Not just a 30 minute boat ride. Other than that the trip was good.

    Great experience

We had an amazing time in Montenegro. Our tour guide Valentina was amazing. Would recommend this tour to anyone

Really nice day trip to Montenegro

    Ian_J, Jun 2026
Rock Tours did a great job with this tour - it was my wife, 2 kids and me along with 6 others in the group. A very long day - about 12 hours from pick up to drop off - but it all went very smoothly. The stop in Perast was very nice and the scenery all along the bay is stunning. Kotor was very crowded and very hot, but it was worth it to get a brief visit and some idea of what the place is like. Our guide and driver were excellent, and made the day a success - thanks!!

    Wonderful trip!

Stranded in the middle of the night/day

    Francisco_P, Jun 2026
No show from the tour operator Rock Tours and less happy with Viator handled the situation. Like they don’t care and won’t do anything about it.

Day trip to Montenegro...Kotor and Perast.

    Sue_D, Jun 2026
Expect an early start and departure time for the return journey. This is to avoid the queues at the Border crossing points.

    I didn't like it

    Karolinne_C, Sep 2026
I do not recommend it!! First, 4 hours are lost at immigration, 5 hours of travel, little time is left to enjoy the places and everything is done very quickly!! I didn't like it!
