Mateo was excellent!! He really wanted everyone to have a great experience, which we did! He was very informative of the region. Waterfalls were amazing Mostar was charming, but crowded. Loved the old buildings of stone and food was great! Highly recommend this tour !!

Can’t recommend this trip enough. Picked up & dropped off on time. Straight through border control both sides, no delay - much easier in a small group than on a coach. “Disco” our guide & driver was fun, friendly and very informative. The waterfalls and Mostar were both beautiful, plenty of time at each.

You will be picked up as close as possible to your accommodation, exact pick-up place and time will be confirmed after booking. Pick-ups are from 7.00-7.25 depending on your location. Please note that old town is a pedestrian-only zone and pickup is only at designated points outside the town walls. From islands pick-up is in port of Dubrovnik (Hotel Petka)

Itinerary

The adventure begins as soon as your guide arrives to pick you up from your hotel in Dubrovnik, taking care of all the navigation and driving.

First, Kravice Waterfalls, before all the crowds arrive. Enjoy around an hour to swim, relax, and unwind in this natural oasis, so don't forget your swimsuit and towel (in the summer, your stay is a bit longer).

Then, travel to the medieval city of Mostar. On the way, view the vistas of the Dubrovnik Riviera as you traverse through the Bosnian countryside.

Take in the landmarks and culture of Mostar at your own pace, with ample time to indulge in a delectable lunch and immerse yourself in the rich history.

Then journey back to Dubrovnik, with drop-off at your original departure point.

Marlo our guide and driver was perfect. Amazing. He knew the best (quickest) way to cross the border with no line and no wait — we got to both waterfalls and Mostar before the crowds AND it took us 2 hours less than other trips (just in saving driving/border crossing time.). He also knew everything about BIH and the waterfalls, as he was from Mostar. I couldn’t recommend anyone more. Mostar was also spectacular — so beautiful it was almost like a Disney village. Marko also was perfect in the history and insights he had to share. He is probably the best tour guide I have ever had.

Marko was an awesome tour guide- we loved visiting Mostar/BIH with a local. He was patient and gave a lot of good advice. We enjoyed his recommendations and we loved hearing about his life and family in the area. We spent a week on the coast so was looking to do something different and being in Bosnia and seeing the town of Mostar was definitely an experience I won’t forget. Bonus- I accidentally left my hat and jacket in his van and he was kind enough to drop at our hotel hours After our excursion. Def recommend this unique day trip from Dubrovnik Thank you Marko!

Our guide Bruno did a great job to get us through border patrol and get us to the falls early . We were the first people to be there. It was very pretty. We then went on to Mostar. Mostar was beautiful. The bridge and the old town were really cool. We got some great pictures. We enjoyed a really good lunch at a place our guide recommended. We got back to Dubrovnik by 5:00, which was perfect.

We had such a great time with Bruno! He had the permits to pick us up at the Plotce gate which was fantastic and he was great on the tour! He planned it so we were able to get across the board as quick as possible and get to the waterfalls first before anyone else. He gave great recommendations for food in Mostar as well! Would recommend to anyone to do this tour!

We had an excellent time on this excursion. The early stop at the waterfalls was perfect as we were there before the crowds, and then we went on to Mostar where we enjoyed wandering around the old town and taking lots of photos of the old bridge and it's surroundings. Pick up and drop off went smoothly and Mateo was the perfect guide, giving us lots of interesting facts throughout the day. We would highly recommend.

Miodrag was a great tour guide! He gave us plenty of information about the country of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The waterfalls were incredibly beautiful. Outstanding! Our tour guide Marco is from the area and pointed out sights and significant points. He is friendly and had a wonderful sense of humor. He is very familiar with the waterfalls as he used to play there when he was a boy. His knowledge of the area made the border crossing quick and easy. He is open to any questions, he shared much about the Croatian war when asked. The waterfalls are spectacular…..the town of Mostar was lively, good restaurants (ask Marco for recommendations) and beautiful…. Highly recommend if you are looking for a slower paced kinda day!

Great trip from start to finish Collection point and timings were given with clear instructions as soon as trip was booked. Our guide Marco was on time, polite, knowledgeable and easy to understand which made the whole day enjoyable. We visited the fantastic waterfalls and then Mostar, both of which were well worth visiting. Marcos local knowledge added an extra layer of interest to both places. The tour is a full day experience where you get to learn more about the history of Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina, and visiting the beautiful falls at Kravice and the historic town of Mostar. Our tour guide Bruno was knowledgeable as well as funny and engaging. While the tour size was supposed to be 8, it was only our family of 4 and one other traveler, so Bruno courteously allowed us to determine how long we wanted to spend in both locations. He kept us informed every step of the way of what to expect and his recommendations, especially for lunch at Mostar, were excellent. Thanks again Bruno for making the tour a memorable day for our family. Also, safe travels on your return home to Zagreb!

I highly recommend this small group tour! Miodrag was able to take us to the small border crossing which made it very quick and easy to get through. The whole drive he gave us information about both Croatia and Bosnia which was great! We were the first to Kravika waterfalls which allowed us to get some great pictures without the crowds of people in them. While arriving in Mostar he gave us the option to follow him and get lunch at his restaurant which we did. The food was amazing- a huge portion and it was very cheap! We had lots of time afterwards to wander the streets and explore. On the way back he made an extra stop at a fruit stall on the side of the road where we were able to buy some farm fresh fruit. Overall I highly recommend this tour and Miodrag as a guide!

Great 10 hour day-trip out of Dubrovnik. One of the best I've done on my travels. Highly recommend. Got to the waterfall early. Wasn't crowded yet. Mostar was a great destination, as well. Our tour guide, Marko, was outstanding. Very knowledgeable and had a great Spotify Playlist, too.
