A circular hike in the heart of Lefka Ori mountains, through the lunar and extraordinary landscape of the mountain, the biggest mountain range of Crete. We start with a small road trip from the traditional and historical village of Anopoli into the interiors of the mountain with an off-road vehicle (transfer included in the price) . Veerna was a wonderful host and teacher. She is very knowledgeable of the history of Crete and it was great to learn the story behind the food we prepared. Her and her family really made us feel a part of their family. The food was delicious and there was always someone around to help out if needed. Not to mention the olive grove scenery was beautiful! Our guide, Maria, took us to seven stops at Chania restaurants, bakeries, and specialty food shops. She was delightful company as we shared savory bites, sweet treats, and several local beverages. We also enjoyed visiting the shops selling items like herbs and oils - the shopkeepers explained their products and offered samples. Walking route was well organized and not tiring. Highly recommend. You will not leave hungry!

This is a long day with lots of bus time, however if you are interested in seeing more than coastline then this is a great way to combine the two. We had a lovely guide in Jo and a great driver, Nico. For me, 4 hours at Elafonisi was a little long and I would have liked more time at our late lunch location, Elos. We really only had time for lunch and not enough time to explore the village. However the day itself was great and we covered a lot of miles. Jo’s instructions were very clear, particularly as she was dealing with two different tour groups and she had good information regarding the places we were driving through and visiting.

We did the quad tour during our honeymoon in Crete and had an absolute blast! It was such a fun change of pace and gave us a completely different way to experience the island. The scenery was beautiful, the riding was so much fun, and we loved getting away from the typical tourist experience and seeing another side of Crete. Definitely worth it if...

Definitely worth it if you want to visit these hard to reach locations without the chaos of a big tourist ship. Everything was well planned, and the boat had plenty of food, drinks, and places to hang out while sailing. And there are things to do whether you want to run up to the fortress in Gravmousa and swim to Balos lagoon, or just hang out on the boat. If I had to criticize something, I wish they'd separate smokers into their own tour, or make the whole thing non-smoking. We only had one smoker, and it was annoying enough. Not much space on the boat to get away from it.

Our driver Andy was so sweet and hospitable! During our drives to each location, he educated us on the history of Crete in regards to olive trees and vineyards. The staff in each location were so nice and you can just tell they love what they do. Made me appreciate the goods more knowing how much work goes into it. Definitely recommend!
