I booked this excursion...
I booked this excursion for my boyfriend and I’s first time trying ATVs and it was the best. The mountain views were stunning and it was so easy to get the hang of the ATV. The best part was Kiko, our guide. He was amazing and super helpful throughout the entire trip. He even stopped by to point out a Toucan and encouraged us to take more photos. We stopped by a local restaurant in the mountains and the view + smoothies + empanada was an amazing combination. We also got to swim in the waterfall, which was a great way to cool down because it was a very hot and sunny day. I also loved how it was just one other group with us so it was very personal. It was such a memorable experience and we loved every second!

Great tour
I had a great experience at Rainmaker thanks to our guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable and really took the time to try and find the animals we were hoping to see. What stood out most was how patient and considerate he was—especially when I was nervous around certain creatures like spiders. He never rushed us and made sure everyone felt comfortable throughout the tour.
We ended up seeing a lot of snakes, which was surprisingly very cool, and the highlight was definitely spotting a red-eyed tree frog! Overall, it was a fun, memorable experience, and I’d highly recommend this tour—especially with such a thoughtful and dedicated guide.

ATV Volcano Trip love it
This was my first time in Costa Rica. My family and I prepaid for multiple trips and ATV Arenal was one of them. The company emailed us saying that before the trip, we can upgrade our tour to see a volcano a little closer and have more fun with ATVs. The upgrade was $40 per ATV. The whole experience was amazing we had so much fun.

Great activity for adventurous kids.
It was a great experience for families who are new to ATV’s. Our guide did a great job giving us instructions before we headed out. We brought my 9 and 11 year old and they had a blast! We stopped long a river for a snack and to swim. My kids and I loved body sliding the rapids. The mud mask was also a delight, my skin has never felt so soft.

Our guide, Oscar, was amazing! We were informed in advance that we had to pay an extra $40 for a solo driver since we were an odd number (3 adults) which we paid when we arrived.
It was a fun adventure around a palm plantation through dirt roads and water crossings. March is the dry season which made of a dusty excursion. Be prepared to get dusty but it was well worth it. Make sure to wear well fitted goggles from what they provide. Enjoy the adventure!

A great day-long trip to...
A great day-long trip to take! The staff at the agency were well organized which made check-in easy. Our guide was super knowledgeable and always looking out for any wildlife for us to see on the way to and from the park. Stops at a local bakery and soda for lunch added to the experience. The park itself was a great hike and had plenty of good sites to see.

Waterfall, Hot Springs, Oh My!
My wife and I had a wonderful time on this tour. Daphne and Umberto took great care of us, guiding us from one unforgettable place to the next. The waterfall and hot springs were particularly memorable, and I’d recommend this tour to everyone who visits Costa Rica.

Hernan was great!
Hernan is one of the most incredible guides I have ever had anywhere in the world. His university studies for being able to be a nature guide is so obvious in his knowledge and understanding of the intricacies of the dry forest and the wet forest and the animals and plants that inhabit it. We did the loop trail and learned so much about plants, transition zones, animals, and the geology.
His answers were never just a few words, but were obviously educated, detailed understanding and expression of the way these things all relate to each other and the beauties that they hold.
Absolutely outstanding!

Great snorkeling, delicious food and beautiful sunset
Highly recommend this excursion! The views were amazing, and we even got to see whales! It was a great balance of sightseeing, snorkeling, swimming, dinner/drinks and sunset. The fresh fish dinner was delicious as were the many drinks they serve on board. Only complaint is we wish it was more than just 3-4 hours!

Take your teens here!
Jesus took care of us all day, most important making sure we were having FUN! It helped that the two other groups were game to have as much fun as our 2 teenagers. Rappelling this during the dry season could have passed, but still exciting for us and we want to try again when more water flow. Zippling was a blast as we were encourage to go upside down, run off platform as we’ve done this a few times. Lunch was amazing and then the ATVs! My boys were thinking it would be boring —- it was not! As experienced riders we were able to use our skills and ride the course, go over rivers, take some chances within risks! If there was 6 stars for this I’d give it.

Fun and friendly guides. Cool Experience
Our group of six people had a fun time on this excursion. The ATV's were in good condition. The guides were friendly and fun. They took us to several beaches and it was fun driving through typical Costa Rican neighborhoods. This was well worth the money and I would do it again. A few in our group said it was their favorite thing they did on our trip.

Great way to see...
Great way to see Nicaragua. We originally booked the shared tour but due to not enough people booking we had to make the decision to pay for an upgrade to the private tour or cancel - this was only communicated the evening before the trip so beware this could happen when booking. We were picked up at 5am and driven to the boarder. Boarder control was quick and easy and we meet our guide Gaspar at the Nicaragua boarder. He fast tracked us through and we headed off for our breakfast and the tour. Gasper was an amazing guide, he was so knowledgeable and we certainly learnt a lot about the country and he made the day really enjoyable. Would definitely recommend this trip for anyone who wants to visit Nicaragua but is short on time

From wildlife-filled cloud forests to misty volcanoes and white-sand beaches fringed by lush jungle—Costa Rica’s natural landscapes were made for open-air adventures. Costa Rica ATV tours provide a fun and exciting way to tackle the rugged terrain and venture deeper into the wilderness. Head off-road along rainforest trails or muddy tracks on an easy-to-drive ATV or buggy, splash through rivers, or zip along coastal beaches, then hop off to swim beneath a waterfall, admire the views, or picnic in the jungle. Take the wheel for a short circuit or combine your ATV tour with other outdoor activities.
