Meet at our office in Durango, located at **360 South Camino del Rio, Suite 200**, approximately 20 minutes before departure. From there, you'll travel to Mesa Verde National Park in one of our comfortable touring vehicles with 15 passengers or fewer. This five hour experience is primarily a driving tour, giving you time to enjoy the spectacular scenery while your guide shares the archaeology, history, oral traditions, and culture of the Ancestral Puebloans. First you will see the iconic Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater and then we will head up to the mountains for and adventure that includes a hike to a glacier and lake. In the winter people have been known to go sledding and skiing there. I usually bring a sled along if the passengers would like to try sledding. From there we go to Idaho Springs for a cowboy lunch and then to the Indian Hot Springs for a dip in the thermal pool or enjoy natural .thermal caves.
