Awesome experience rafting in Colorado!
We had a really fun day on this half day rafting trip with Downstream Adventures! Dylan was the best guide, and made the trip so fun and had lots of great stories to share. He even stopped to let folks jump off a rock cliff into the river! This trip was suitable for all levels. A good mix of rapids, lazy floating, and so much beautiful scenery! Highly recommend Downstream Adventures!

Best river rafting in Glenwood
This is a wonderful, refreshing and fun activity to do on a hot late-summer day! Wait till June or July or August so the water calms down from spring run-offs. We went in late July. 100 Degrees in Glenwood Spgs! The river felt awesome! Definitely do the Half-Day Shoshone rapids tour, not the “lazy river” one that starts after the rapids. The Shoshone Rapids are class 3-4, not bad at all. There were young children in our group and in another raft behind us, and all 7 rafts made it through without tipping or dropping anyone in the water. The rafting guides for Glenwood Adventures are top-notch and know that stretch of the Colorado like the back of their hands. Highly recommended! You need to wear a swim suit, a “water” shirt, sunglasses and water shoes. DO NOT wear flip flops. And pack a LOT of sunscreen! And bottled water! They provide life-jacket and helmet. Do it, you won’t regret this tour!

We originally booked the...
We originally booked the Half Day Roaring Fork trip, but they reached out a few hours before and asked if we wanted to change to the trip that included more rapids as they thought it would be better for our family. So thankful that they did! We had a great day and our raft guide Justin was Awesome! All of the guides were great, they made the experience from start to finish a great one. We would definitely recommend and would go again!

Great experience
It was a great experience, they called the night before to confirm and ask if I had any questions. When we arrived they gave you all the info and provide life jackets and helmets. You do need shoes with backs on them or you can rent shoes from them. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly. We had a great experience with Nick.
