Best Guatape Tour
Perfect tour and GREAT tour guide.
We have done this tour in a group as well as this private service. If you want the BEST tour service to The Big Rock, this private tour is the best you will find. From pick up ti drop off, EVERYTHING was top notch!! Get ahead of the crowds and enjoy everything that comes with touring in private 😉

Sooo beautiful…
Pictures cannot capture how beautiful this place is, you have to go see it yourself in person! This small group tour is ideal for the salt cathedral. A must while in Bogota. The Tour delivered everything that was promised in the description. Be sure to read.

Hiking Adventure
What an unforgettable hiking and waterfall experience! The views were absolutely breathtaking from start to finish. The hike had just the right amount of challenge to keep it fun and exciting, making the waterfalls at the end even more rewarding.
Alejandro was an incredible guide — knowledgeable, energetic, and made the entire adventure enjoyable while keeping everyone motivated and safe. If you’re looking for amazing scenery, a little adventure, and an authentic outdoor experience, this is a must-do! *Bring shoes that you don’t mind getting wet.

Unexpectedly great!
I had already paid for a mine tour somewhere else and it was a real disappointment, but this one turn out to be mind-blowing. I recommend you take a comfortable pair of shoes and be ready to admire each of the impressive 14 small chapels, carved entirely out of rock salt.
Our driver, Jefferson, was really kind and helpful. I'd take the tour again!

Best tour!
I will say that this tour was the highlight of our trip to Cartagena. It was authentic, engaging, and very informative. Our tour guide, Victor, was extremely knowledgeable and clearly very proud of his culture. It showed in the way he shared the historical facts, the town, the people, and their way of life.
The tour was about six hours long, but it went by very quickly, even in the blazing heat. We were really happy that we booked a tour with an actual resident of the town who was so respected by everyone. It made us feel welcomed and almost like we were part of the community for the day.
The food was amazing as well. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone traveling to Cartagena who wants to learn more about the Afro-Colombian community there.

Alejandro was a great guide, his personal experience isn't something you can get from any tour guide or any tv show. This was a learning experience and I'm very glad I went on this tour. See the house where he died, the museum, his grave, and the memorial to his victims.

Esteban and Alfonso were...
Esteban and Alfonso were excellent guides for this tour. They were very knowledgeable and ensured that everything was well-executed. The visits to Guatavita and Guatavita Lagoon were beautiful, providing great cultural context for the region. We had visited the Museo del Oro the day prior, so everything tied in well. Lunch in Zipaquirá was at a nice restaurant and consisted of a tasty traditional Colombian plate. The subsequent visit to Catedral de Sal was incredible. We had plenty of time to explore the beautiful chambers and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Wonderful Island Hopping
This was such a fantastic experience. The islands that we stopped at were beautiful and calm and the drinks, snacks, and lunch were very delicious. It was my first time snorkeling and the two spots that we stopped at were the highlights of the tour for me. Our guide and the whole crew where amazingly kind people with the best energy. The ride back to Cartagena is not the smoothest, but that is the case for all of these tours.

This tour covers many of...
This tour covers many of the main sights in Barranquilla and Puerto Colombia and is best if you’re looking for easy sightseeing and good photo stops. The highlights included the Puerto Colombia pier, the beach, a historic castle, the Window Tower, the Shakira and Sofía Vergara statues, the Barranquilla letters, and other city landmarks that made for great photos.
For Vegetarians the breakfast was a simple cheesy empanada, which was good but limited to one. Lunch was excellent though, and the women who worked there were very nice.
Javier was the highlight of the tour. He was attentive, helpful, and always willing to assist or look things up when needed. Overall, it’s a relaxed tour with great photos and content and a great guide.

Great experience!
It was a nice experience. The tour guide and van driver were friendly. The beach was beautiful. I will complain, though, about the vendors. This has nothing to do with the company. The vendors are very aggressive and they don’t know personal space. They would come up to us and wouldn’t take no for an answer. They would drive their jet skis very close to us and we could smell the fumes. It was not a pleasant experience because the whole point was to relax. This one gentleman put an oyster in my husband’s hand, despite him telling him no, and then tried to charge him for it. So just beware. Other than that, the spot where we got to sit and eat at was super lovely. The owner was super friendly.
If you’re not used to poverty, be ready to see it when you walk to the beach. There are legit shacks, so be warned. The walk is a short walk, about 10 minutes max. There are rocks so be aware. Overall great experience and would recommend.

You won’t be disappointed if you love coffee, chocolate & wildlife
Be prepared for slippery trails and river crossing. The enthusiasm that our guide had was truly contagious. He loved what he does and has stories for days. Coffee in the morning, from the small farm, lunch at Jungle Joe’s & chocolate making was brilliant! One of the best trips I’ve been on & so happy I had made last minute plans to book
