Salt cathedral
This tour included a guide and transportation to GUATAVITA, a hike to the lagoon, and transportation to zipiquaria/salt cathedral. The tour brought us to a BBQ restaurant for lunch, and the food was good there. Be aware that the food and entrance to the attractions were not included in the tour.

More Than a Tour—An Experience I Highly Recommend 🖤
Our family trip to **Palenque, Colombia 🇨🇴🖤** was an experience we will never forget!
From the moment Dani picked us up, everything was well organized and punctual. He started by giving us a great introduction and made the entire experience feel personal and meaningful. Dani is extremely professional, welcoming, and so knowledgeable about **Black history, culture, and the powerful story of Palenque**.
As a parent, this experience meant so much to me. My kids barely get the opportunity in school to truly learn about their roots and Black history. Bringing them to Palenque and allowing them to **see, hear, interact, ask questions, and learn from someone who truly knows and understands the history** was TOP TIER for me. 🙌🏾❤️
This wasn’t just another excursion—it was an opportunity for my family to connect with history, culture, and our roots in a way a classroom simply cannot provide.
If you’re visiting Cartagena, **please don’t hesitate to book with Dani! Take the time to interact with him, ask questions, and soak in the knowledge. You will leave with so much more than pictures—you’ll leave with a story, a connection, and a deeper appreciation for the history of Palenque 🇨🇴

A good tour away from the crowds
Overall a good experience and well organized. First arrival at the Marina and need to queue up outside for a guy to sell you an access ticket. Don t arrive before 8am as this is a lot more busy with long queue under the sun. Then when you have your ticket you pass the Marina gate entrance and look for the tour quite well indicated (everything is branded under the name of the tour top 3 isla. Then the guide check you in at the booth and have to wait for departure at 8:45 (that s why no need to go early).
Then we boarded the speed boat with a reasonably small group (only about 20 people which is very small compared to all other groups 8 have seen. Then went for a one hour speed boat ride and got to the first Island (well more beach club really) called Bora Bora. We stayed there for 1 hour 1/2. They give you a good sunbed and a drink and you can order whatever you want. The beach is nice. Quite fun.
Then at 11;30 boarded to boat again for a short trip to Isal Bela where we had lunch (it was okay but nothing to sing about) and could enjoy the beach and get around till 13:30.
Then boarded the boat again for short trip to Pao Pao. Lovely resort quite secluded and laid back. Lovely beach and good sun beds.
And then made our way back at 3pm.... and little did we know. Because of the wind the sea became very rough and the return took 1:30 and was quite tough. But we made it back to the Marina at 16:30.
So it was a good day and gives you a good impression of the Islands. It is true that this tour avoids the super crowded spaces and that it what I was looking for. All places where we stopped were relatively quiet and spacious.
It was fun, well organized and serious organisation. But I would qualify it more as a Beach Clib hoping rather than an Island hoping tour!
Anyway, good value overall.

Best Guatape Tour
Perfect tour and GREAT tour guide.
We have done this tour in a group as well as this private service. If you want the BEST tour service to The Big Rock, this private tour is the best you will find. From pick up ti drop off, EVERYTHING was top notch!! Get ahead of the crowds and enjoy everything that comes with touring in private 😉

Excellent nature experience just outside Medellin
This is a great way to get outside the city of Medellin and enjoy the beautiful surrounding nature. They pick you up in El Poblado and the drive to the start is about 30 mins with great views along the way. We were driven in a car but others were taken in a bus. Our group was about 20 people. The walk to the waterfall is about and hour each way and it does include some steep/rocky and sometimes slippery terrain. It’s pretty wet and sometimes muddy but you can (and should) rent boots at the start. Also recommend ordering lunch which will be waiting for you when you get back.

Must see in Columbia
Wow what a wonderful informative and fun adventure day! Our tour guide Nick was so friendly and explained the culture and highlights of the country very well. He was funny and insightful, giving us plenty of time for questions and soaking in the experience. It was just my husband and I and one other couple so the day was personalized and well timed. We took several breaks on the hike and there was a plentiful amount of food and drinks available on the trail. Highly recommend! Amazing waterfalls!

Alejandro was a great...
Alejandro was a great guide, his personal experience isn't something you can get from any tour guide or any tv show. This was a learning experience and I'm very glad I went on this tour. See the house where he died, the museum, his grave, and the memorial to his victims.

Esteban and Alfonso were...
Esteban and Alfonso were excellent guides for this tour. They were very knowledgeable and ensured that everything was well-executed. The visits to Guatavita and Guatavita Lagoon were beautiful, providing great cultural context for the region. We had visited the Museo del Oro the day prior, so everything tied in well. Lunch in Zipaquirá was at a nice restaurant and consisted of a tasty traditional Colombian plate. The subsequent visit to Catedral de Sal was incredible. We had plenty of time to explore the beautiful chambers and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Wonderful High-Speed Boat!
The boat ride (sitting in the front three rows) was a wonderful water rollercoaster experience. Empty your bladder before boarding is a good idea. Prepare $20 for port fee.
The fried fish toward the end of tour (2pm) was nice. (Make sure that you have a good breakfast so that you can last until 2pm.)
Bring your own water.
