Had an amazing time visiting this elephant sanctuary! This was one of our favorite activities. Our guide/teacher Lizzy was sooo funny and sweet. We learned about the herbs and vegetables in the garden, chose our own dishes to make which is nice because I’m vegetarian and my partner is not, smashed up our own curries, and ate our meals with people from literally around the world, and genuinely had a great time.

A lovely day trip to see...

A lovely day trip to see the elephants and have a great walk/hike through lovely rice fields. Doi Inthanon was cloudy the day we went, but still was a nice view, and the guide gave our group the option to skip for more time with the elephants if we didn’t want the cloudy vista. The sanctuary felt ethical and the animals seemed well treated and safe, and that made this a highlight of our stay!

A Must-Do Experience in Thailand

Our private tour with Kung was one of the highlights of our trip to Thailand! Visiting both the floating market and the train market gave us such a unique glimpse into local life. Kung was incredibly knowledgeable, shared fascinating history and cultural insights throughout the day, and had a wonderful sense of humor that made the experience even more enjoyable. She went above and beyond by taking so many amazing photos of us without us even having to ask. At the train market, she made sure we had the perfect viewpoint to watch the train pass through, and at the floating market, she guided us to some of the best local foods and vendors. The entire day was seamless, well organized, and exceeded our expectations. We left with wonderful memories, fantastic photos, and a much deeper appreciation for Thailand.

It was an excellent all day tour. The waterfalls were amazing. Visiting the Royal Project to taste the coffee and tea, visiting the rice fields and having lunch were good. Unfortunately, it was so foggy and drizzling that we could not see the pagodas. Our tour guide, Apple, was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable.

I really loved this tour....

I really loved this tour. Mumu and Tom were my tour guides and were absolutely fantastic. Mumu is easily the funniest person I have met in Thailand. She was also super informative and I learned a lot about Thai culture through her! I came for Doi Inthanon, but I really enjoyed all the other stops on the tour.

Great day trip

Great day trip tour from Chiang Mai. Sticky waterfall was fun and a refreshing experience and our guide was helpful and provided tons of interesting and educational information. Blue temple was a visual feast with so many great photography opportunities. Had a delicious lunch after the temple and then finished the day at Angel land where you are sure to find an instagram worthy photo spot or two. Great tour, good locations, and a fantastic guide. Would recommend and would do connect time I’m in Chiang Mai.

The overall experience...

The overall experience was wonderful. We were picked up from our hotel within our window. We were lucky that our group was quite small so made everything much easier, moving, trekking, waiting at bathroom stops. Galaya our guide was very sweet and she was super energetic and made us try different fruit and made sure our needs were covered. She took a ton of photos as well and sent them to us at the very end. The day trip is generally long and gets hectic, so be prepared with some snacks. Lunch was towards the very end so any fruit or snacks we bought were essential for energy levels. The 2.5km trek is about 2.5h for a small fit group of people, I’d say it could take longer if you have people on your group who need to go at a slower pace. We literally ran a lot, any steps going up we’d run and rest but also stopped a lot for photos and some historic info. Make sure you have a rain jacket (may weather), good shoes (climbing are best but we had regular running and cross fit shoes on and it was fine, a bit slippery). The drive from and back to Chiang Mai didn’t feel super long, about 1.5h but went by pretty quick and our driver was also fast, very sweet man. Because we went in May, we couldn’t see the gorgeous views of the village from above when reaching the peak because of the fog so keep that in mind for rain season.

This was one of the best experiences we did in Chiang Mai and I would highly recommend it if you’re looking for a full day of adventure. The tour included ATV riding, white water rafting, a stop at the Sticky Waterfall, and food — which made it a really well-rounded and enjoyable day. Everything was very well organized from start to finish. Pick-up was on time, transportation was smooth, and the schedule flowed really well without feeling rushed. Each activity had enough time to enjoy without it feeling overwhelming. The ATV ride was a highlight. Riding through the jungle trails, dirt paths, and mud made it feel like a real adventure. The guides made sure everyone was comfortable before starting, which made it fun even for beginners. The Sticky Waterfall was such a unique experience. Being able to actually climb up the waterfall was something I’ve never done before and definitely worth it. It was also a great break in the day to enjoy the scenery and relax a bit. White water rafting was a great way to end the day. It was exciting and fun, but still felt safe with clear instructions from the guides. It added a really fun and energetic finish to the experience. A big part of what made this experience stand out was our guide, Mr. K. He was friendly, professional, and made sure everything ran smoothly. He kept the group engaged, explained each activity clearly, and really added to the overall experience.
