What are people saying about Chiang Mai

Such a memorable day☺️....
Such a memorable day☺️. The jungle trek and waterfalls were amazing, the guides are really lovely and knowledgeable. I loved the final visit where we tried different teas from the region. Would 100% recommend if you enjoy nature. Even though we had no view at the final temples as it was really cloudy, the day was still worth it. If you can, do try to book it on a day where the sky is going to be clear.

A must do experience
We had previously taken a food tour with this same company in Bangkok and it did not disappoint, so we thought we’d do the same when we got to Chiang Mai. We had a lovely time with our guide this evening. She had so much knowledge of the history and culture of the north of Thailand. A must do when you are in Chiang Mai.

Incredible experience!!!!
Our family of 5, including 3 kids 8-12 years old, did this full day tour a couple of days ago. It was an amazing experience! The chance to be up close with the 3 elephants and their handlers in such a gorgeous location was truly special. We walked with the elephants, fed them bananas and watermelon, watched them roll and play in the mud pit and then our kids swam with them in the stream and helped to wash off the mud. We also had a delicious local lunch of chicken, fried ride, egg and tons of fruit. The pace was very relaxed. We spent about 5 hours at the sanctuary plus a few hours of driving. This is the tour to do if you really want to slow down and enjoy a quiet relaxed day in nature just observing the elephants and enjoying the beautiful surroundings.

Rantong Elephant Sanctuary
The sanctuary is about 1.5 hours from Chiang Mai. We were given special clothes so not to destroy our clothes as conditions were quite muddy. You get to prep food and feed the elephants close up. We saw elephants of different sizes and ages. Then as an option you get to wash the elephants at the end. Food was then provided, a simple but good egg pad Thai and some fruits and mango sticky rice. Overall a fun experience and the elephants look like they were happy and sociable.
