Hot spring, temples and Karen Tribe tour
We had Kavee as a guide and her many years of knowledge, history and passion for all the different locations giving a brilliant inisight of the Karen culture and temples, which greatly enhanced the entire experience. Nothing was ever too much trouble and despite requiring specific deadlines to keep the trip itinerary on time, we never felt rushed (even when people arrived back at the coach a little late). Very enjoyable experience, but as per the itinery suggestions, don't book if you have an evening flight on the same day, as the time window is not cast in stone and can take up to the suggested maximum of 13.5 hours if you have a few stragglers that push the time constraints, which is outside the guide's control.

Do not miss this amazing experience!
The was an amazing experience. You are not behind fences or guardrails, but actually interacting with the elephants. I was a little nervous at first because they are so strong, but quickly calmed due to their easy going behavior. Our guide was with us to make sure everything went smoothly. We cut up the food and feed the elephants. We learned more about the elephants and the preservation of them in their natural habitat. These elephants are not working elephants but many times saved from brutal work. We also were able to ride down the river and a bamboo raft which was great! You do not get wet. We had the opportunity to take a hike with an elephant. Do not miss this activity!

Go Hungry
Go hungry!! We were sooo full. Great choices, we both made different dishes. I made Pad Thai with shrimp (chicken was the other option) 2 soups. Our chef Lizzy was fun, funny and informative from the garden to the wok. We took leftovers with us. Packed in plastic baggies. 😁

Excellent Tour and phenomenal Guide
Excellent. The Tour was organized in an excellent manner. Andy the Tour guide was phenomenal. He was very knowledgeable and explained things very well. Andy was very cooperative and cared about guest also he was very professional in his conduct. A great appreciation for Andy. Doi INTHANON NATIONAL PARK is worth visiting. The whole day you are immersed in a nature friendly environment. The Tour does involve walking on steep steps and some steep height. So you have to have an intermediate fitness to fully enjoy the tour. Visit to DOI INTHANON NATIONAL PARK is Highly Recommended. The company Wendy's Tour is Highly Recommended as well.
