We joined a Wendy Tours...
We joined a Wendy Tours group of 12, with tour guide Nami. She was really knowledgeable about the places we visited and clearly a veteran guide - she knew all the other guides, and the locals in the Karen tribe village, really well - including the pet pigs and chickens! The tribe village was actually a highlight, with tourist visits being handled respectfully of the villagers, and of course the water falls were beautiful. Sadly we couldn't see much of the Pagoda due to the fog but still worth a detour, don't forget to bring some a little bit warm as it does get cold ish up there( 10 15C)

Great Experience With Paul
We had an amazing experience on the Chiang Mai Elephant Sanctuary, Bamboo Rafting, and Waterfall tour, and a big part of that was thanks to our guide, Paul.
Paul was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the entire day. He made sure everyone was comfortable, shared helpful tips along the way, and took lots of photos for our family so we could simply enjoy the experience without worrying about capturing every moment.
What really stood out was his kindness. During the jungle trek, my son’s flip-flops broke, making it difficult for him to continue. Without hesitation, Paul took off his own flip-flops and gave them to my son so he could finish the hike safely. That level of generosity and genuine care is something we will never forget.
Paul went above and beyond to make our day memorable, and we are incredibly grateful for everything he did. If you have the opportunity to take this tour, we highly recommend requesting Paul as your guide. He truly made an unforgettable experience even better!

An absolute must and perfectly organised !!
Maggie from WanderSiam was absolutely fantastic showing us around in perfect English. This trip is a must for anyone visiting Chiang Mai. But bring warm clothes and a rain jacket. It can be very cold and rainy up in the mountains.
Our family really loved this daytrip.
This company is very well organized, a top tip !

Great way to see Old City
A fun outing that takes you through the backstreets of the old town, with stops at notable temples, the old city wall, and a food market. You’ll pass dozens of cafés and small shops. The guide was friendly, safety conscious, and knowledgeable about the sites we visited. I took the morning tour and it got hotter as the morning progressed. We had some shade and cloud cover throughout the ride, which was nice. The mountain bikes are in good shape, and the tour also provided a helmet and water bottle. Wear long sleeves or sunscreen. I wore a sun hat under the helmet which provided extra coverage which I needed!

A Temple Tour not to be missed
This is a full day tour travelling to the far north of Thailand near to its borders with Laos and Myanmar, so be prepared to spend a long time in the car. It is however totally worth it. You will visit the three villages of Rong Kuhn, Rong Suea Ten and Huay Pla Kang in the Chiang Rai region and their Temples ‘White’, ‘Blue’ and ‘Red’ respectively. Each of these places is a stunning experience and we learned much from our guide Ratchavasit who was friendly and helpful throughout, answering all and any questions throughout the day. He focused particularly on the sustainability aspects of the trip and the history of each temple, emphasising their central function within the villages in which they are located. We must also congratulate our driver Mr Boi who drove in a manner and with skill which clearly demonstrated his consideration for the comfort of all nine of his passengers.
We would definitely recommend this tour and we would happily travel with Ratchavasit and Mr Boi again. Thank you!

We had a fantastic day....
We had a fantastic day. Mr. Wat was our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and we appreciated his humor, as well. Our 8 year old did just fine with the 11 hour trip. Our favorite part was the elephant sanctuary but the hike was nice too. Mr. Wat took plenty of pics which was nice gesture. Even though we hit a little rain, it did not ruin the hike or experience one bit. Check this tour out if you're in Chiang Mai!

M was a considerate guide...
M was a considerate guide and great driver.
He gave us information about the various points of interest that we needed without it being excessive, altered the itinerary to suit our preferences, and made the whole day enjoyable and memorable.
His driving was safe and the car very comfortable.

The overall experience...
The overall experience was wonderful. We were picked up from our hotel within our window. We were lucky that our group was quite small so made everything much easier, moving, trekking, waiting at bathroom stops.
Galaya our guide was very sweet and she was super energetic and made us try different fruit and made sure our needs were covered.
She took a ton of photos as well and sent them to us at the very end.
The day trip is generally long and gets hectic, so be prepared with some snacks. Lunch was towards the very end so any fruit or snacks we bought were essential for energy levels. The 2.5km trek is about 2.5h for a small fit group of people, I’d say it could take longer if you have people on your group who need to go at a slower pace. We literally ran a lot, any steps going up we’d run and rest but also stopped a lot for photos and some historic info. Make sure you have a rain jacket (may weather), good shoes (climbing are best but we had regular running and cross fit shoes on and it was fine, a bit slippery).
The drive from and back to Chiang Mai didn’t feel super long, about 1.5h but went by pretty quick and our driver was also fast, very sweet man.
Because we went in May, we couldn’t see the gorgeous views of the village from above when reaching the peak because of the fog so keep that in mind for rain season.

Thailand Highlight
This trip was one of the highlights of our time in Thailand. Our guide, Pam, was incredible — thoughtful, knowledgeable, and such a pleasant person to lead the tour. We learned and experienced so much throughout the day. One of the biggest highlights was the walk through the jungle and visiting the small village. I would absolutely recommend this tour!

Amazing day
Amazing expirience! We booked a private tour and were alone with the elephants all day. We walked them, fed them and bathed them. Elephants were calm and happy and eating a lot!! The elephants freely decided the pace and we followed them. We will never forget this day!

A must in your next travel to Chiang Mai
This tour takes you out of the center of Chiang Mai to visit others temples. Our favorite was one on the top of the mountain. Gong, our guide, was kind and great. At the end she help us with a reservation in one of the most popular restaurants in town.
