Masterclass in thai cooking!
even if you dont like cooking this will change your mind, picked up from hotel, driven by the wonderful natty and her partner. She takes us to a local market and shows us all the ingredients we might use. On the way to the farm you choose what you would like to cook. All the dishes are cooked from scratch and she takes you through each dish step by step. I cooked chicken massaman curry (best i have ever had) and shrimp tom yung goong, hope spelling is ok lol, spring rolls were made by everyone, all the food was superb and brilliantly explained by natty, Weather doesnt matter because you are in a huge covered kitchen so you can go if its raining which it was. All in all a fabulous way to spend the day and great value. Thanks to natty and her team.

We joined a Wendy Tours...
We joined a Wendy Tours group of 12, with tour guide Nami. She was really knowledgeable about the places we visited and clearly a veteran guide - she knew all the other guides, and the locals in the Karen tribe village, really well - including the pet pigs and chickens! The tribe village was actually a highlight, with tourist visits being handled respectfully of the villagers, and of course the water falls were beautiful. Sadly we couldn't see much of the Pagoda due to the fog but still worth a detour, don't forget to bring some a little bit warm as it does get cold ish up there( 10 15C)

Great Experience With Paul
We had an amazing experience on the Chiang Mai Elephant Sanctuary, Bamboo Rafting, and Waterfall tour, and a big part of that was thanks to our guide, Paul. Paul was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the entire day. He made sure everyone was comfortable, shared helpful tips along the way, and took lots of photos for our family so we could simply enjoy the experience without worrying about capturing every moment. What really stood out was his kindness. During the jungle trek, my son’s flip-flops broke, making it difficult for him to continue. Without hesitation, Paul took off his own flip-flops and gave them to my son so he could finish the hike safely. That level of generosity and genuine care is something we will never forget. Paul went above and beyond to make our day memorable, and we are incredibly grateful for everything he did. If you have the opportunity to take this tour, we highly recommend requesting Paul as your guide. He truly made an unforgettable experience even better!
