This private tour was absolutely perfect. We had done a giant group tour just a day earlier and it went pretty badly so it was such a nice relief to see the beauty of Crete on a relaxed and customized pace. Angie was a great guide, so personable, easy to get along with, showed us the prettiest places, and was so great with our daughter, too. The itinerary of this trip is also perfect. The gorge is stunning, the beach is so unique and beautiful, and there is a salt water pool right by the beach that my daughter really loved (and we did, too). The village of Spili was small but also pretty. Angie made the day feel relaxed, never rushed us, let us stay at the different stops without tight deadlines and even recommended a few places in Chania to visit and dine at. Highly recommend Angie and this day trip.

Wonderful day out. Very organised and on time. Provided beach mats, umbrellas, and a cooler with snack and refreshments. Visited two very beautiful beaches with plenty of time to relax and swim and then a great little stop at the world’s oldest olive tree. Eleni and kostas were great. Very smooth journey and very informative.

If I could give this to her 10 stars I would! George picked us up promptly at our desired time and location. We traveled in a very clean and spacious van. Although the day is scheduled for up to 10 hours, we desired only a seven hour tour. Because it is completely private, George helped us to identify what was best for our group to cut, so we would be back at our desired time. We started our day at a beautiful olive orchard where we learned about olive trees, olive oil production, as well as their beehives and honey. We had a very fun tasting experience in a gorgeous setting of the olive trees. After this, we opted to visit the cave, where George told us a little history about its significance. It was a very unique and special experience for our family. When we visited the beach, George was very kind and prepared with beach towels, mats, and even an umbrella. He always had a fresh supply of cold waters for us and did everything possible to make us comfortable. He brought us to a lovely restaurant for lunch and we opted to end our day early. For people who want to do more, the day has the potential to be longer. There is a lot of driving around the island, but George gave us a perfect balance of answering our questions, and also allowing us to just be quiet and enjoy enjoying the beautiful scenery. He was an exceptionally careful driver, as many of these mountain roads seemed quite dangerous. I cannot say enough good things about this tour. Don’t hesitate to book! Definitely worth the money.
