Lovely Beach Day!
Our driver was prompt and helpful! He arranged umbrellas and sunbeds for us at the beach ($30 euros each-definitely worth the $$ for the shade and prime spots on the beach). He also brought us drinks and snacks which was a great bonus! The water was refreshing and the beach is beautiful. About an hour from the cruise port, but a beautiful drive and opportunity to see the island on the way.

Everything was super...
Everything was super organised and the communication were amazing. It meant we could relax and it took all the stress that goes with travelling right away! The team Eleni, Kostas and Christine were top class. The small group experience made it personal and Eleni’s knowledge about the area added the touch needed to make this trip super informative. Our driver Kostas knew the roads like p the palm of his hand and we felt safe every step of the way. The snakcs provided hit the right spot and were super tasty and local. The beaches were amazing and we ebjoyed every moment. My only recommendation is more time is spent at Falasarna than Ellafonisi. This will allow time for some watersports for those interested.
Overall, great value for money and I would recommend it to anyone!

Exceptional private experience
If I could give this to her 10 stars I would! George picked us up promptly at our desired time and location. We traveled in a very clean and spacious van. Although the day is scheduled for up to 10 hours, we desired only a seven hour tour. Because it is completely private, George helped us to identify what was best for our group to cut, so we would be back at our desired time.
We started our day at a beautiful olive orchard where we learned about olive trees, olive oil production, as well as their beehives and honey. We had a very fun tasting experience in a gorgeous setting of the olive trees.
After this, we opted to visit the cave, where George told us a little history about its significance. It was a very unique and special experience for our family.
When we visited the beach, George was very kind and prepared with beach towels, mats, and even an umbrella. He always had a fresh supply of cold waters for us and did everything possible to make us comfortable. He brought us to a lovely restaurant for lunch and we opted to end our day early. For people who want to do more, the day has the potential to be longer.
There is a lot of driving around the island, but George gave us a perfect balance of answering our questions, and also allowing us to just be quiet and enjoy enjoying the beautiful scenery. He was an exceptionally careful driver, as many of these mountain roads seemed quite dangerous.
I cannot say enough good things about this tour. Don’t hesitate to book! Definitely worth the money. Thank you George (and Giorgina from the Olive orchard)

An Amazing Day with Angie – Highly Recommend!
My husband and I had an incredible private tour with Angie, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Crete! From the moment we met her, she was warm, kind, and personable. We connected right away, and it felt like we were exploring the island with a friend.
She took us to the beautiful south side of Crete and showed us places we never would have found on our own. One of the biggest highlights was Kourtaliotiko Gorge, where Angie knew exactly how to avoid the crowds and get us in quickly. We practically had it all to ourselves, which made the experience even more special.
We also spent time at the stunning Kalypso Beach, enjoyed a delicious local lunch, and Angie was more than happy to adjust our itinerary when we mentioned we'd love to visit a winery. That flexibility made the day feel completely personalized to us.
Beyond the beautiful scenery, what made the tour so memorable was Angie herself. We had great conversations throughout the day, learned so much about Crete, and genuinely enjoyed every minute together.
We can't recommend Angie enough. If you're looking for a private tour that is personalized, relaxed, and full of unforgettable experiences, book with her! We already know that the next time we're back in Crete, we'll be reaching out to Angie to explore another amazing part of the island.

Our favorite day in Crete
Can’t say enough good things about Maria and this tour. Go read all the five star reviews and believe them. She was our favorite guide of the vacation, and took us to a cafe, cultural museum, monastery, ottoman fortress, olive oil factory and winery. Maria effortlessly blended facts, legends, and modern observations about Crete, its people, the food, and culture. The day was about eight hours long, and despite everything we did, never felt rushed, and certainly never bored. Miss you already Crete, and Maria! Would give more than five stars if allowed.

Thanos and Christine are amazing!!
We had an amazing day with Christine and Thanos. Our day was filled with Greek history and culture, and the tour was thoughtfully crafted with breaks along the way.
Christine was a wonderful guide, and provided helpful context of Knossos palace, even though we didn’t book a guided tour. Her and Thanos provide welcomed knowledge of Cretan traditions, food, and culture along the way.

Great Trip with Beautiful Views
We had a wonderful experience on this hike. Although it’s officially rated as “easy,” it didn’t feel that way for everyone in our group. Our guide, Nikos, explained that the difficulty rating comes from the official mountain authorities, not the travel agencies.
Personally, I found it easy, but some people did struggle a bit. The trail is downhill all the way, so if you have knee problems, it might not be as easy as advertised. The scenery is absolutely beautiful, but you do need to keep your eyes on the path while walking, so make sure to stop now and then to enjoy the views.
Regular trainers were fine for me, but walking boots might be a better choice for extra support. Our guide, Nikos, was fantastic - informative, funny and very attentive. After the hike, we even went for a refreshing swim while Nikos kindly went back to help struggling hikers.
Overall, it was a great experience. Everything was well organised, clearly explained and we felt very well looked after. Highly recommend!

This was a great...
This was a great experience and more than what we expected. A bus picked us up from Rethymno and we drove out to Elafonssi beach. It was approximately a 2 hour drive and well worth it. Kostas was a magnificent driver and maneuvered this huge bus through the mountains and Lazarus was a great guide. You get so much more than what you pay for.

Olives and Wine the Cretan style
A great experience touring through the Olive Mill and tasting some of the best flavours from this beautiful part of the world. Tasting the selection of wines was much enjoyed by the family. A special thanks to our wonderful and lovely tour guide Angie, thanks for all your hospitality and knowledge 😃

Crete Adventure Tour
First time experiencing another country, and the time we spent on this tour was worth every cent! Nikolas, the name of our guide, proved to be knowledgeable, funny, and most importantly sincere when speaking to us. We were treated with the utmost respect and were laughing and learning throughout the entire excursion. It was a personal, first hand look into the local culture that you can’t get on your own! Do not miss out on what Crete has to offer in this tour, highly recommend!

Family day trip with teens 💕
Enjoyable day out for the family, we have twin teens. On/off the coach with multiple stops too break up the journey and get to see snipets of authentic Greece and village life. Locals were so welcoming. The host on the coach and the driver were knowledgeable and very friendly. The olive oil tour was interesting and such a lovely gift shop advicating for many local artists and artisans!
Kornas itself seemed over commercialised on first arrival but actually we still really enjoyed the experience. Good choice of restaurants bars and shops. The lake itself was beautifully clean and the wildlife does not disappoint. Lots of pedalos to choose from or free swimming. Abundant with turtles and eels that hapily eat from your hands!. Take bread and go searching round the edges of the lake. Loved this day out and great value for money. Highly recommend 👌
