This was a long tour, but we saw a lot of different things. The Chamaral waterfall and the 7 Colored Earth spots were my favorites.

A good way to take in the flavours of Mauritius and to see a beautiful part of the island. Our guide, Swadesh, went out of his way to make it a special day.

Wonderful day exploring the south of Mauritius
We had a really wonderful day out! Raj picked up and drove us around and he was excellent. Had lots of local knowledge and patience as we wanted to explore. Our guide for the hike was excellent and we were blown away by his knowledge of the area.
Highly recommend the trip!

Very good
The trip was excellent and the driver was very good too.
Well organised. A lot done in one day and managed to see so much of the island.

Great view of the island
Very flexible. Due to mosquito spraying we altered our plans and everything was great.
Our driver was local and knowledgeable

Amazing views from Le Brabant
The walk has spectacular panoramic views, but it is not for the faint hearted. This trip includes a park warden guide and this is definitely needed. The walk is steep and expect to climb steep, rocky slopes once above the tree line.
The walk is done with other groups (as advertised) but as we apparently arrived half an hour late (we were picked up by tour at hotel on time so not sure why) the rest of the group had left on the walk, but thankfully one warden waited for us. We were blissfully unaware and to be honest this worked in our favour as we had the guide to ourselves, so wasn't an issue. He was excellent and I would not have got to the top without his advise!
The tour took us to the waterfall and dunes, but this is basically in a taxi, which I wouldn't necessarily call a tour. I think we must have missed the final view point. The sights are worth seeing and the park guide crucial for safety but otherwise a taxi could just be hired for the day, especially as the National Park entrance fees you have to pay as extra anyway and no lunch is included.

We enjoyed the site seeing. The private tour fit well with our schedule so we could utilize the time spent at sites to fit our preferences. Our driver, Shahad, was attentive and knowledgeable.

Great tour and Ben as a guide was awesome.
This was a great all day tour of the southern part of the island. Ben was our guide and he did an amazing job of not only making sure we saw everything that was in the listing but also added a few spots that matched our interests. All the sights were great, and despite a rainy day, we were able to dodge the rain with great timing by Ben. Lunch was wonderful with lots of choices. It was more than enough food. Loved the Gorge, alternative double waterfall, tortoises and the over look sights. We added a visit to the ship building factory, and additional overlooks. Because it had rained, the 7 colored spot was not as brilliant. Plenty of bathroom breaks, water stops and time at each spot. Never felt rushed.

When to visit

Plan for a visit of 45 minutes to two hours to explore the park.
Picnics are not allowed in the park, so leave any food behind and eat at the on-site coffee shop or Le Chamarel Restaurant instead.
You can explore the park on foot, but since it’s so big, it’s worth using a set of wheels to cover more ground. Bikes, scooters, motorbikes, cars, and minibuses are all allowed inside.
Tickets can be bought online or at the entrance gate when you arrive.
The entrance fee covers all three areas of the park. Once inside, you can stay as long as you want to explore until closing.
