Seven Coloured Earth Geopark Tours and Tickets

We had a really wonderful day out! Raj picked up and drove us around and he was excellent. Had lots of local knowledge and patience as we wanted to explore. Our guide for the hike was excellent and we were blown away by his knowledge of the area. Highly recommend the trip!

It was a whistle stop tour of many different sites & not really getting the opportunity to fully appreciate your surroundings. Mauritius is a beautiful luscious green country & a true beauty to behold. Be prepared for a long day

The trip was excellent and the driver was very good too. Well organised. A lot done in one day and managed to see so much of the island.

The walk has spectacular panoramic views, but it is not for the faint hearted. This trip includes a park warden guide and this is definitely needed. The walk is steep and expect to climb steep, rocky slopes once above the tree line. The walk is done with other groups (as advertised) but as we apparently arrived half an hour late (we were picked up by tour at hotel on time so not sure why) the rest of the group had left on the walk, but thankfully one warden waited for us. We were blissfully unaware and to be honest this worked in our favour as we had the guide to ourselves, so wasn't an issue. He was excellent and I would not have got to the top without his advise! The tour took us to the waterfall and dunes, but this is basically in a taxi, which I wouldn't necessarily call a tour. I think we must have missed the final view point. The sights are worth seeing and the park guide crucial for safety but otherwise a taxi could just be hired for the day, especially as the National Park entrance fees you have to pay as extra anyway and no lunch is included.

Greatly enjoyed Ebony Forest jeep safari with Chris! He was very knowledgeable about the conservation programs; eager to share information. Went out of his way to educate us about local plants, birds, trees, and turtles! Teesha was our driver/guide for the whole eight hour tour. She answered our questions; provided a quiet atmosphere which allowed us to enjoy the scenery. She even took the time to contact Massage Spa and book our appointments for the next day. The only disappointment was “The Package “ Lunch at Saveur Tropical Restaurant; the fish was too tough to chew and the waitress didn’t care.

The best stops i this tour are the Ganga Talao Temple, the Chamarel Waterfall and the Chamarel seven-colored earth (including the large turtles). Most of the other stops are just viewing points with not very impressive views.

Nice tour! The local tour operator (Paradise in your palm tours) were great! Serviceminded, quick to respond, etc. Grand Bassin and the seven colored earth were the highlights along with the stunning nature everywhere! The lunch was nice and we even made time to visit the chamarel rhum house!

Our guide Ben was very friendly and gave us a lot of information. He made sure we will see all the nice and interesting sites. We enjoyed our tour.
