Difficult review to write. Unhappy with Viator whose description said there would be 7 specific stops - we only got 3 of them. Taxi driver said road had been closed since March, so Viator should not have sold this tour. Also driver, who was a very nice guy, was just that - a driver and not a guide, so no explanations of places visited or passed.
Having said all that, we all, a family of 6, really enjoyed our day out (7.5 hours) with a picnic lunch supplied by our hotel. Taxi was comfortable and the places we visited were interesting despite our driver saying he was unaware of the itinerary promised by Viator. Overall still good value for the cost.

Saw the memorable sights of southern Mauritius. However the logistics of our tour were terrible. Got off to a rocky start when our driver was over 1 hour late. There was a whole todo over which driver and which car. The guide/driver drove us around with no explanation unless we asked; pretty much all he said was "I'll be in the parking lot." Shame on Viator!

Hello. On that day,we were really confused on where the ship would arrive. A guide came to you and told you to wait a little bit as there was a heavy traffic and you said that you would wait. You only had to wait for 15 mins not an hour. Concerning the driver, he told our company that you were with 4 people and you weren't talking, so he was a bit hesitant to talk to you. We were really flexible towards you and sent you many mails and responses,that's why we always told you that cruise ship is really hard as there are many people at the port and our team made sure to reply and talk to you. You also asked us whether it was a smoking car and we replied with no, that it is a no smoking car
Anyhow our company team would like to apologise for what may have happened. We hope that you are still enjoying your holidays.
