Exceptional experience
Our experience with David and his beautiful horses was the nicest experience of the trip. David is knowledgeable, funny and patient. The horses are beautiful, super well behaved and trained. Rio Celeste is amazing!!! The color, the cleanness…is a whole experience and we loved. We would absolutely do it again!.

Rio Celeste, Sloths and Cortez Waterfalls
Kevin and Kristian we're very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable guides who made the tour fun and interesting. It was very well organized, the guide in the sloth sanctuary was very good and discovered lots of animals which he helped us photograph through the binoculars. The lunch location was well selected, the food delicious. Highly recommended!

It is an amazing rainforest area. The Rio Celeste falls are amazing. The rain was intense, but that’s should be expected in the rainy season of the rain forest. However, maybe the site could emphasize that more so that people are more prepared. The trail is a bit tricky, with the mud, some inclines, and rock. I did expect some of it from the description. It was ok for me but would be hard for some.

  • The trail to the waterfall is 3.7 miles (6 kilometers) round-trip, and hiking to the waterfall takes about an hour.

  • A raincoat and sturdy shoes with a good grip are essential, as rain is common even in the dry season. The trails are unpaved and can get extremely muddy.

  • Restrooms, a restaurant, and a car park are located at the entrance to the national park.
