If you’re heading to Sal Island and thinking about booking an experience – do it, and make sure you get Tony! We had the most incredible day, and that was all down to Tony. From start to finish, he was absolutely amazing – professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what he does. He made everyone in our group feel comfortable, kept the energy high, and made sure every single person was having a great time. The whole experience was seamless, well organised, and full of unforgettable moments. You can really tell when someone loves their job, and Tony definitely does – it shows in every detail. Absolutely wonderful day

At the start of the day no-one showed up to pick me up. Quick message to the tour operator and I got a call back immediately. Not long after I was able to join a tour and had an amazing day. There was a lot of beautiful things to see and do and the tour guide had a lot of interesting information about each location. I would absolutely recommend taking this tour!!

Great afternoon out! Great value for money!

This is a fantastic afternoon out. Be prepared for a hot bus trip to the boat if you're not local to the launch point, but even that was relaxed and well organised. The boat trip itself was amazing. The crew couod not do enough for us, plenty of water, soft drinks, beer and wine with snacks at the start and finish. We saw dolphins playing and leaping all round the boat, humpback whales breaching in the distance and flying fish too. Even if we had seen nothing, the 3 hours on the catamaran were the perfect way to spend an afternoon. Plenty of shade when needed and glorious sunshine too. Highly recommend!

All round great experience

Chan was a great and friendly host. He made us feel at ease and was very knowledgable; telling us lots about the island in between each of the stops. It was great to see the main tourist spots of Sal. We absolutely loved seeing the lemon sharks around our legs. And it was very cool floating in the salty water. Due to the waves we didn’t get to see the blue eye as such but the big waves were an amazing sight anyway.

Old folks on 69th Birthday 🎂 can fly too, loved it!!

Wear sensible walking shoes for variable step levels and rocky terrain for the last 15-20 mins up hill (at older folks pace)where the 4X4 stops. Be careful getting off 4X4 the step does not extend out very narrow my husband celebrating his 69th Birthday fell. Staff were rushing to help and kept close to us after that, fortunately as a Nurse I had sterile wipes and dressings to hand!! Once at the top the views were amazing even on an overcast day. Felt very safe and confident, weighing up and instruction at base camp. Then again at top double checks of harness and encouragement at take off. It was over way too quickly. Got the big now. All the staff were very good, We really enjoyed it and would do it again if return. Our driver was on time for hotel pick up and was a safe driver, he kindly dropped us by bank on way back instead of hotel.

An experience not to be missed

This was an amazing experience that I would recommend to everyone that visits Cape Verde during the turtle laying season. We were very lucky to see a few turtles coming out of the surf and then our excellent guide Kenny concentrated on one turtle that was in the process of digging her nest. Through the red lights, we witnessed at arms length the turtle digging, laying, covering and returning to the sea. This took place over an hour and a half. It was one of the best memories of the holiday. From the pick up at the hotel, the multi-lingual Kenny kept us all informed throughout. The road to the nesting site is an adventure in itself. We were then taken to a glamping tent for drinks and snacks an an insight into the life cycle of a turtle. The area is patrolled by conservationists protecting the turtles and the numbers within each group. Highly recommended to all.

Full day trip of Sal sat on the back of pickup 4 bucket seats on the back and 4 inside. Sun block essential and sun glasses. Off road better than road travel. No great distance between sites. Ed was a knowledgeable guide, very personable. Gave us a lunch menu and options so to pre order food. For us the bathing in the salt lake was a fabulous experience for my daughter th lemon sharks. A very satisfying day of experience.

Fabulous trip!

Great staff, and very accommodating as they were happy to spend longer so we could see the turtles. They didn’t over book so we had a lot of space around the boat (unlike their competitors). I enjoyed it so much that I booked on for the catamaran the next day. I would 100% recommend and will see them again for another trip!
