After meeting at Veleiro for a short briefing and enjoying the fresh Atlantic breeze, you’ll be transferred to Cabo de Ribeira, a small rural village spread across lush farmland beneath the impressive Cova Crater. Your hike starts here, passing fields of sugar cane, coffee plants and local crops such as tomatoes, cabbage and paprika.
